Gorgeous hotel on Vulcano Island. This is one of the most beautiful hotels and settings we have stayed in. The hotel is surrounded by the beautiful water, volcanoes and landscaping is beautiful. The rooms are spacious, comfortable with beautiful views. Food is very pricey - but it is on a remote island, so understandable. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The breakfast buffet was extensive and delicious. The fine dining restaurant was beautiful, but a little disappointing, as the pre-fixe menu courses did not go well together. All in all, we would highly recommend this beautiful hotel for a once in a lifetime experience.

This hotel was fantastic in so many ways; - the views are simply spectacular - without exception all staff were super friendly/helpful/efficient - one of best breakfast offerings seen in a long time - we tried their michelin star restaurant ( cappero) .Delicious and to be repeated. They have a genius in the kitchen The only improvement to suggest would be the regular restaurant. We tried porc ( overcooked/dry)and lamb ( not the best piece and smothered in sauce) and these were more forgettable experiences. If we would have stayed longer than 3 nights this could become a spoiler of this otherwise superb hotel.Starters ( gnocchi, spaghettine) were great though Some of the wines were priced over the top. We had identical sicilian wines for substantially less money in other well regarded restaurants ( Palermo & Syracuse)

Fantastic location and personnel. Two restaurants with a Michelin star as well as two more without (even if one of them is under the general supervision of one of the star chefs). The view from our very pleasant room was breathtaking. We would recommend this to anyone!

The hotel was amazing...simply top notch. From the staff, to the cleanliness, to the setting to the food, we could not have wished for anything better. Went with 3 friends and I would love to go back with my husband. Sooo beautiful and serene and again, the staff made this one of our best resort stays to date.

We just finished a 6-day stay at the Therasia Resort on Vulcano, one of the Aeolian Islands. The hotel was absolutely wonderful. From start to finish we were taken care of and pampered by Nancy and the rest of the super friendly hotel staff. The location was stunning. We thought we died and went to heaven and landed in paradise. Wherever you looked there were the steep cliffs, crystal clear water and the blue sea. We had a wonderful stay and vowed to come back next year.
