The beautiful Polo Beach, at the outskirts of the luxury Wailea Resort, is the most secluded of the five beaches of Wailea, Hawaii. With eight floors, views of the ocean and the sound of the waves are sensational from every two-bedroom, two-bath Maui condominium.

Polo Beach Club has a fantastic location...to include the beach out front. The unit we stayed in was extremely dated and in poor condition. The kitchen was awful (i.e. cabinets, lack of utensils, zero basic spices like salt and pepper, no napkins, freezer did not make ice, old flooring and countertops). The kitchen sink faucet was loose and would not turn from side to side. The window blinds were cheap and hard to use. The shower was low on shampoo, conditioner, and soap when we checked in. We had a complaint from the tenants about my two 18 year old sons quietly playing catch with a NERF football on the grounds...guess that is not allowed. Absurd.

We had an amazing time at Polo Beach Club! We rented through CoralTree and it was a fantastic, seamless transaction! They sent regular emails before our trip, giving us outing ideas, concierge services etc. We were greeted at our unit with a lovely welcome basket from our host/hostess family. You can't beat the views here! While all beaches in Hawaii are public, this felt like a private beach just utilized by those staying at Polo Beach Club. Never over crowded. No need to get down early to reserve a spot....plenty of open beach to set up your chairs etc. If you're going to Maui, and want to be away from the crowds of tourist...this is the perfect spot!! Missing the sunsets already!

Incredible view and updated unit (more details below). This building is on one of the best beaches in Maui- for both snorkeling and boogie boarding. The view from nearly every property on this site is nothing short of spectacular. We are repeat visitors and have enjoyed eating takeout on the lanai (and don't get me started about the sunsets). The kitchen in this particular unit is perfect (newer sink works well, the counter is newer, the cabinets are updated and nicely furnished). The AC and all newer appliances (refrigerator and dishwasher) worked well (there are also ceiling fans that work great too). The washer and dryer are very new and there was laundry soap provided. We saw no ants or other insects and the unit was spotless-clean when we arrived. The parking worked flawlessly (gated underground facility). There are beach chairs in the bedroom closet that we enjoyed. The art decor is...interesting, but everyone has different styles/tastes. Overall, this is a really great unit. I would stay here again without hesitation. The property management is not on site, but their office for checkin is conveniently located nearby (in the mall by Monkeypod and Pita Paradise) and on the way to/from the airport. The staff of three there were very helpful (there was no line when I arrived and one of the staff was nice enough to provide me with a refreshment while I was filling out more paperwork). The checkin time is a couple hours later than other properties, but they texted and called me when the unit was available. The front door has an access code, which was really handy for going/coming from the beach (no keys). The management company texted me the various codes (unit front door, gate to beach, and property front pedestrian gate). Because they sent a nice note each day (Hawaiian word of the day), their text string was always near the top on my phone and easy to retrieve the entry codes at the top. Here are areas of potential improvement: this beach front unit has nearly zero places to hang up damp/wet towels, trunks, suits, etc... (there is a towel bar in the main bath, but that's it. The master bath has a towel bar inside the shower (!?)). The use of mirrors throughout makes the unit seem more spacious, but in the master bath at the cost of hooks or towel rods (does anyone really need a full wall mirror next to the toilet?). We had to get creative to reuse our bath towels, but overall it was not that big a deal. The tile entry and tile in master bath has a polished smooth finish which gets wicked slippery when wet. Take caution when going/coming from the beach or coming out of the shower. All the interior doors throughout are double hinged like a restaurant kitchen door or old western saloon doors. The problem is that w/o a door jam, there's a gap around the door that you could toss a cat through. The main bathroom is not altogether private- as the door has a gap and the shower wall is clear glass. Again, not a huge deal, but just something to be aware of. The last issue was construction- we were not aware or advised that the property was undergoing the installation of new railings. Construction happens; I get it. Maybe that detail was in the fine print, but I didn't see it. The guys were sawing (?) with power tools on metal railings and that was noisy. It was only during the day, and again, not a big issue (but I would rather have known before hand). Overall, the unit is grand and we had an extraordinary week there.

Loved the condo and the beach even more! The staff made our trip very easy to plan, even when we arrived later than expected . The accommodation was lovely and we had everything we needed. Will definitely return. Best part of Maui! Mahalo for a wonderful trip

Our first experience with CoralTree and the Polo Club unit #801 far exceeded our expectations. The unit was spotless, updated and had amazing views. So comfortable & roomy. Check in/out was a breeze. Terrific location in Wailea, close to lots of amenities. We will definitely be back!
