Nestled along the dramatic Kohala Coast and in the piko, or center, of five great mountains, Mauna Lani is a sacred oasis where generations of families and friends have made memories together on soulful lands once cherished by the greatest of Hawaiian royalty. Greet the morning sun as it rises above the mountains' peaks from the seat of an outrigger canoe. Talk story with friends old and new at the Great Lawn as the sounds of ocean waves and laughter mingle. Dine amongst the company of loved ones at CanoeHouse, where locals have savored the island's bounty for decades. As you walk this storied coastline, breathe the rejuvenating salt air and swim in the crystalline waters, you feel the same mana, or spiritual energy, that first captivated legends like King Kamehameha I and Francis H. I'i Brown.
In the rooms you'll find an understated, natural décor that’s bright and refined, with ample hardwood, natural fabrics, and textures that embody the essence of the soulful Hawaiian escape. Our luxury residences are ideal for guests traveling with extended family and friends, or simply desire more space, and rooms located above our adult pool offer a haven for couples or those celebrating something special.

A must stay! This resort has it all... from the quiet adult pool with no distractions or being on a sandy beach all alone. This resort has it all. Take a ride in their new Mercedes Benz shuttle services. We're definitely returning. Golf course in prime resort conditions. A 5 star treatment and amenities.

Beautiful resort. The friendly and attentive staff made this stay one of the best vacations for us. Pampered all the way. Delicious food, very comfortable room, and the free use of a fleet of mercedes was over the top.

Mauna Lani is a little slice of heaven. The staff are welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The food in every venue is amazing. Try the Ube Pancakes! The rooms are calming and comfortable. I urge you to sign up for some of the experiences they offer as it will give you a real sense of the magical place you are in. The sunrise canoe trip is spiritual and beautiful; the canoe and snorkeling brought the sea to life as dolphins accompanied us. Lei making and mai tai making were fun. Visit the petroglyph park to learn more about the people who came before us to settle and care for this beautiful place. Uncle Danny and Anna will share stories, songs, and hula to bring it all to life. Whatever you do, do not miss a sunrise!

We had a wonderful experience at Auberge. Back in the days we stayed at the original Mauna Lani. It was nice to see changes and lovely grounds. Our room was small and worked, it didn't have a bathtub (which I enjoy on my vacation) ;( The grounds and ambiance were exactly what I needed, full of nature, natural wood and good vibes. I like the shade and was able to find it, my husband loved the beach and sun. We enjoyed dinners at both restaurants, walks, sandy beach, morning yoga and breakfast. I have a feeling we will revisit this hotel soon.
