Nestled along the dramatic Kohala Coast and in the piko, or center, of five great mountains, Mauna Lani is a sacred oasis where generations of families and friends have made memories together on soulful lands once cherished by the greatest of Hawaiian royalty. Greet the morning sun as it rises above the mountains' peaks from the seat of an outrigger canoe. Talk story with friends old and new at the Great Lawn as the sounds of ocean waves and laughter mingle. Dine amongst the company of loved ones at CanoeHouse, where locals have savored the island's bounty for decades. As you walk this storied coastline, breathe the rejuvenating salt air and swim in the crystalline waters, you feel the same mana, or spiritual energy, that first captivated legends like King Kamehameha I and Francis H. I'i Brown.
In the rooms you'll find an understated, natural décor that’s bright and refined, with ample hardwood, natural fabrics, and textures that embody the essence of the soulful Hawaiian escape. Our luxury residences are ideal for guests traveling with extended family and friends, or simply desire more space, and rooms located above our adult pool offer a haven for couples or those celebrating something special.

Truly lovely experience from the moment we walked in the door through our departure - the staff was engaged and accommodating. We loved our time at the time hotel so much that we didn't leave. We highly recommend this property. Leia and the staff at the Francis Brown Club made our stay especially special and we can't wait to come back next year.

Third time at this resort. Golf, snorkeling, beach, good pool, great restaurants, good workout facilities. Only reason for 4 stars was due to an ant problem in our room. Ants all over the room, including crawling on my clothes in the closet.

would not classify this resort as a high-end resort. more like a Hilton or Hyatt Beach club. thought we would try out this brand as they had availability and our typical go-to's were sold out (4S and Rosewood ). nothing special or over the top at auberge. restaurants are very average. pool chairs and beach chairs had the chair towel game being played our entire stay like at a cheep resort. often having to wait while seats remain empty for hours or they had special seats you could purchase... activities were lacking and what I would call the basic of a Hawaiian resort. My kids who are typically big fans of the kids club did not appreciate this one. essentially located a room with no windows and basicish activities.

We found the property to be beautiful; however, we felt that the overall service was lacking, with the notable exception of the team at Canoe House, who provided excellent service.

Amazing experience. We went with our three kids and had the most comfortable and upscale experience. I would visit this property again.
