About the Hotel

The charming Fox Harb'r Resort is as much a rustic lodge as it is a resort for members of society's upper echelon. Located in breathtaking Nova Scotia, it overlooks the rugged point where the Atlantic Ocean joins with the craggy Northumberland shoreline. This stunning semi-private retreat features a cache of refined sports, such as championship golf, par 3 golf course, skeet shooting and sporting clay as well as exclusive amenities, like a private airstrip and marina that fronts a secluded stretch of shoreline. Townhouses and manor-style villas containing luxurious suites punctuate the property, offering a wealth of style and comfort. Jutting balconies, heated granite bathroom floors, wet bars for mixing mean martinis, and other unexpected treasures animate Fox Harb'r Resort's accommodations.

A usually superior property

This was our seventh stay for the annual Spring Culinary Weekend. As in previous years the event was greatly enjoyed. Unfortunately this visit was marred by the smell of raw sewerage within our suite and the common area of our building at certain times of the day. Staff explained it as being dependent upon the tides.

Easter weekend stay at Fox Harb~r

An experience I would recommend to all who want a feeling of being pampered in a location that offers many relaxing. amentities . If when booking your thoughts are that it is very expensive , i would only say that it will be the best vacation experience that you will ever have in feeling that you deserve this. The staff is unbelievable and make you part of the resort life. Food is great and not over priced. Rooms are amazing offering relaxing patios to have your morning coffee of which many overlook the golf course. Although I also had concerns about costs as middle class retired couple , I left wanting more and will most certainly return to experience all the amentities at Fox Harb~r .

Beautiful spot to escape from the hecticness of life. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet - like the style of the small buildings with only a few rooms per building.

We were there for a special event - the Lennie Gallant Concert - Christmas Tour 2024. The resort was actually closed for the season but re-opened for this special event. Buffet dinner and concert. Beautifully decorated, great food and service.

We just came back from this beautiful property. The room was spacious and comfortable, with wonderful touches like heated tile floors in the bathroom. The food in the lodge was amazing, particularly the seafood platter for two on our first night there. The Nova Scotia lamb was also good on our second night and when my husband mentioned it was not exactly medium rare, he was given a brand new perfectly cooked plate of fresh lamb, with apologies from the chef. Finally, since it is a golf resort, my husband assured me that the course was not only beautiful, but beautifully-maintained, even in early October. Could not recommend this place enough.
