Hotel Bristol, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Warsaw

Undeniably a beautiful old style building right in the heart of Warsaw. The location is really great, and easy walking distance to most things. Sadly the rooms are looking slightly tired, and the decor isn’t up to a 5* standard as is advertised. Sadly they fall prey to the biggest bug bear in a hotel room, no plug sockets anywhere near the bed. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Overall would stay again, but feel the hotel could do with a touch of TLC to modernise it.

I travel a great deal for work and I am rarely astonished by a hotel. This hotel exceeded my expectations n every way. The location is excellent and the staff were brilliant at every turn. Helpful, accommodating and kind. The check in process was easy and helpful. The food in all the restaurants was excellent and the room was lovely. We spent a couple days in a meeting here as well and although meeting fare is usually diabolical the food provided was great. All luxury hotels offer similar amenities and it is hard sometimes to be impressed so, as an example of “the little things that make a difference”. I had a book I was reading next to my bed, I dog eared the page and went to sleep. The next afternoon when I came back to my room my book had a Hotel bookmark placed on the page I was reading. These little details make a difference and ensure that if I am ever in Warsaw again, there is nowhere else I will stay. Thank you to all the staff. You were exceptional and I appreciate each of you.

Great stay, very attentive staff, especially miss Magdalena Kozłowska who’s helped me tremendously when I’ve made an additional booking with a wrong date. The rooms were beautiful, breakfast very tasty and everyone was very friendly and attentive.

Disappointing!!! Check in guaranteed from 15:00, I arrived at castle on time, my room was still not ready, I waited ONE HOUR AND A HALF!!!! To get to my room….!!!!! I had a room at the 7th floor nr 707, because the rooms can be connected between themselves I could hear literally everything from the next door room. My room supposed to be “with a view” u fortunately the window was totally frozen, so I couldn’t see almost anything. The spa is also disappointing, little pool occupied by a family for hours, little sauna and little hammam. That’s all. I also decided to have a breakfast in my room. My breakfast was included in the price of the room, so I just had to pay 50pln extra for the room service. BUT!!! half of the things that I ordered never arrived!!! No eggs, no pancakes… they basically brought what they wanted!!! But the biggest absurd happened around 9am, when I was getting ready for my day… the staff knocked the door to check the mini bar consumptions!!! Wtf??? Really? I kindly said to the guy that I’m actually preparing myself and have no time now to let him in, plus I’m leaving today, so I don’t need any re-filling of the minibar. And he replied - that’s exactly why I came to check your minibar - because you are leaving…..!!!! What the hell??? They delay your check in of 1:30 hours, they don’t offer anything special, you hear your neighbor from the next door room, they don’t provide the right breakfast PLUS THEY DISTURB YOU IN THE KORNING WHILE YOURE IN THE RUSH TO CHECK IF YOU CONSIMED SOMETHING FROM THE MINIBAR AS IF YOU WERE A CRIMINAL!!!!!! Never more!!!!

December friday 3pm arrival booked classic queen and used a SNA, received an unbelievable 5x category upgrade to King Grand Suite top floor 7th with dormer windows facing street. Take the old-fashioned elevator in lobby seating area. Room huge and spotless 1 and 1/2 bathrooms the doors between main rooms with the glass panes are timeless. Hotel has fancy evening turndown service. We received bottle of champagne for wedding anniversary which was unexpected. Breakfast next morning, come hungry its impressive and service is great. Plenty of restaurants nearby, this is an outstanding 5-star hotel I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
