We first stayed here two years ago and were happy to be back. The building, which used to house the US Embassy and is in a quiet and nice part of town, has been converted into an inviting and comfortable hotel space. It features inviting rooms and common areas, an outstanding breakfast (with a fine restaurant in the evening), all amenities, and above all, wonderful, friendly staff. We feel so well taken care of, and the staff constantly show ways of making us feel welcome and appreciated. This has become our favourite hotel anywhere.

This was one of the best hotels my husband and I stayed in on our month-long trip to Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. The hotel is in an excellent location just a short walk to the center of old town as well as many restaurants and convenience stores. A plate of truffles awaited us on our arrival, which was a very nice touch. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very spacious as well. A slight negative was that the bathtub was somewhat difficult to climb into. We would have preferred a more modern set up with a walk-in shower. Overall, however, we had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Warsaw.

I would have given five stars but for a few shortcomings. For a start the website suggested that our deluxe double room had a separate sitting area which it didn't. It said there was a separate shower which there wasn't. There was no coffee machine as virtually every hotel has these days, and the tap system for the bath/shower is more complex than it needs to be to the point that the night staff on duty when we arrived couldn't work it!! Having said all that, the room was quite comfortable and the breakfast offerings were very good. The hotel is in the old town of Warsaw and within walking distance to many attractions.

We stayed in the Presidential Suite for 5 nights. I love the quiet location and the neighbourhood of this hotel. It was nice and quiet and dressed up in a very Christmassy way which was lovely. The food at the restaurant was also very good. However, i feel that the service in this hotel falls far short of a 5* property. The staff at breakfast is not trained to do anything .. there are quite a few waiters but all they do is waiting around for your plate to take it once you have eaten. It’s really strange- normally when you sit down the staff should Ask for coffees/teas and any made to order food. No one talks to you.. everything seems self service which again is not 5*. They also tried to send us away once telling us there is not table for 4 … but there were 2 tables for 2 available. And I had to suggest that they pull them together … Finally, this is the only 5* hotel i have ever seen that doesn’t offer an evening turndown service … cleaning was also very inconsistent- the suite consists of 3 rooms and on a number of occasions only 2 out 3 rooms were cleaned. They provide very little water… I assumed that if I have a suite and 4 people in it , we should Get sufficient water in the morning and in the evening. As for the pool- the water didn’t look clean, it was a bit grainy, we avoided going there. Please fix the breakfast and the cleaning as it lets you down.

During a very difficult family time (I was in Warsaw for a family funeral), the hotel staff went above and beyond to support me. Their kindness and professionalism made an incredibly hard period feel more manageable. Nothing was too much trouble, and the care shown was genuine and deeply appreciated. I’m very grateful to everyone involved and won’t forget the compassion shown to me. Also, the room was terrific, and the entire (brief) stay extremely comfortable. Thank you again.
