Conrad Washington DC

My son and I decided to attend Awesome-Con at the Washington DC convention center in Downtown DC so my wife booked us all a room on the Sakura Club floor for three nights. First thing worth mentioning was the Conrad’s location to the convention center. The hotel was a quick five minute walk to the convention center entrance which made it convenient for my son and I to pop in and out of the convention when we needed a break from all the super-hero action. From the moment we arrived at the Sakura Club lounge; Tom, our lounge attendant instantly made us feel not just like valued guests, but like part of an extended family. The lounge had everything you could ask for - high-quality food, exceptional service, and beautiful views. What truly made the Sakura Club staff stand out was the personal touch. Tom went above and beyond by printing out some of my son’s favorite comic book characters and having them waiting in our room after our first day so he could color them. He loved it! Marlon and Mimi, two other staff members of the Sakura team, provided excellent and attentive service every time we stopped into the lounge. It’s not often that we find a hotel staff and facilities so dedicated to making guests feel welcomed and at home. We've already decided that we're staying here again next year!

This was my second time staying in this hotel, the first time was nearly 7 years ago. To say that I had a wonderful stay would be an understatement. The location is great since you can walk to most of the main attractions in DC. Hotel is extremely clean and well kept. Quiet, classy, very very nice place. The food was very good too, as I had a tremendous breakfast there. I was upgraded via my Diamond status to a very nice room, where the comfort level was off the charts. Aline at the front desk made me feel like a king, and so did Jack. The handwritten note was a very nice touch, along with the AI generated photo. Very cool! I can't wait to get back.

We found the service, quality and friendliness of the staff to be what we would expect from an upscale hotel. We particularly enjoyed the Sakura Club, meals were excellent, snacks and access 24/7, but the staff is what really made the experience memorable…my husband and I just loved the Sakura team especially Mimi, Marlon, Alejandra, Tom and Tierney. All of them were caring and performed duties with excellence. I highly recommend the club.

We had an All-Star experience at Conrad. The front desk crew are pros, servers and bartenders want to help you, housekeeping do a great job, even the valet and bell guys are just really nice and professional. It was a nice, 4 night, family trip. Big room...#442. I can't wait to go back to the Conrad.

Tierney was so amazing. She was warm and personable and treated our girl group with so much kindness. Will never forget that day. While we were celebrating my friends 40th, there also happened to be another guest who was there with her mum celebrating her son’s 1st birthday. It was an emotional morning as she shared her story briefly and we sang to her son. Precious moments that remind us of the importance to show kindness. Thanks for a memorable experience. I will be back!
