Conrad Washington DC

On our most recent visit to Conrad, Washington DC, my wife and I booked a room with Sakura club access which only enhanced the visit. The club is nicely appointed plenty of seating in the club team members who attend the lounge are always friendly and ready to assist. The club provided plenty of food options as well as snack and beverage options as well. 24 hour access to the club is also a nice touch for those of us who like to have late night snacks. This was about our fourth visit to the Conrad Washington DC, and will not be our last, due to the enjoyable guest experience and the excellent treatment from the staff.

The Conrad is among the best luxury experiences I’ve had, and I’m so in love. From the moment I arrived on the property, the staff provided such a warm, welcoming experience. I’ve stayed at the Sakura level twice, including last weekend, and both experiences were top notch! I especially enjoyed the Sakura Club, as the staff are PHENOMENAL!!! The stellar hospitality and guidance on local activities provided by Tierney and the attentive food service offered by Mimi and Maria made my family girls trips outstanding experiences. Tierney shared amazing recommendations for DC’s Art All Night event, and my girls and I had a lovely time exploring the local arts and culture scene!! Also, Maria and Mimi kept the mimosas flowing during breakfast. Thank you for such a phenomenal experience!!! Y’all are the best. The Grounds: The discreet lobby, elevators, rooms, and dining areas are always clean and decorated so pristinely. I especially love the fragrance used in the communal areas, as it’s subtle yet so lovely and inviting. The facilities are safe, clean, and SO COZY!! My only concern was the clogged drains in my aunt’s room; the toilet and faucets were very slow with lower water pressure. That said, everything else was stellar and I can’t wait to come back. We stayed at the Conrad Washington, DC for one night to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we had an excellent experience from start to finish. We booked through American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts. All of the FHR benefits were extended and clearly explained at check-in. We did not receive a room upgrade, but the overall level of service more than made up for it. We especially appreciated the personalized birthday cards from both the concierge team and the manager acknowledging my wife's birthday. The birthday treat was another thoughtful touch. Those details elevated the experience and made the stay feel more personal and special. We had both dinner and breakfast at Estuary, and the food was delicious. Service throughout the hotel was consistently attentive and professional. We did have one issue with the cleanliness of our room. I discussed the concern with Front Desk Manager Jack Heffron, and I was very pleased with the way he handled the service recovery. He listened to the concern, addressed it professionally, and left us with a positive impression of the hotel. The Conrad is also centrally located, which makes it a great choice for a stay in Washington, DC. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would definitely return. The thoughtful birthday recognition, strong service, great dining, convenient location, and professional handling of our concern made our visit memorable.

This was our 7th visit. Have always thought staff Sakura Club and the Conrad top notch. But this visit was even better. The Sakura Club, jammed on Labor Day weekend, was double staffed, and the staff worked very hard. The staff seems well organized and very diligent and professional. A solid team. Particularly Amarti, Marlon and Tom were right on things, but also Mimi and Maria. Everyone was top notch!! The Sakura Club food was excellent. Estuary for lunch was a huge meal...
