The name Dupont may be the most common surname in France, but in the United States it is known as one of the toniest areas of Washington DC. At the very top of Dupont Circle is The Dupont Hotel, perhaps the only place in the city where politicos and party leaders can peacefully co-exist. Newly re-opened and part of The Doyle Collection of properties, The Dupont Hotel's modernly designed spaces are evident throughout the public areas as well as behind each and every guest room door. Contemporary appointments add another layer of luxury to the hotel's harmonious setting. Amenities are abundant with private physical training, in-suite massage and spa services, heated bathroom floors and an entire level reserved for those wanting private membership to the property.

I had a great experience at this hotel. Save for the noise, I would have had the best sleep ever. I MUST know what mattresses they have at this hotel! The staff at the hotel and the Doyle were both great. The service at the Pembroke was terribly slow, but that’s my only complaint (and more of a reflection of the restaurant than the hotel so I won’t ding them for that). Everything was clean and pleasant.

My sister and I came here to tour D.C. and I had stayed at this place previously on several business trips. I enjoyed it so much, I booked it for a personal trip. From staff to standards to service, this place is amazing. The guests are always friendly, the staff are kind, committed, and ready to make your experience a great one. Customer Service strives to make your experience a pleasant one. I will book again!

‘Upgraded’ to a suite that had a non-functioning AC. When I called a fellow came up from engineering and basically said well it’s really OK, even though it wasn’t. With the curtains closed and the AC set on 65° all day and night the temperature was still 79 or 80° in the room. Called several times and didn’t seem to get much reaction. Finally went down to the front desk and asked for a manager who comes one night of our four nights stay offered me a drink, but said he couldn’t fix it and I could go back to the original level room that we had arranged. It was my wife’s birthday and we elected to stay in the suite, close it up and open the outside door when we got back in hopes it would cool down enough to sleep. That worked OK, but it was a very unsatisfactory stay. The room was not very spacious even though it was a penthouse suite. Getting in touch with the front desk is a challenge unless you’re standing in line in person. A score of 3 is generous!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Dupont Circle. We received a very warm welcome from Paul—he is truly helpful! I highly recommend this hotel, which is very well located.
