The name Dupont may be the most common surname in France, but in the United States it is known as one of the toniest areas of Washington DC. At the very top of Dupont Circle is The Dupont Hotel, perhaps the only place in the city where politicos and party leaders can peacefully co-exist. Home Away From Home
I would be very pleased to live at the Dupont Circle Hotel. That is how much I like it. It has been my hotel of choice for a number of years. I had been absent for the last few years. On my return I found everything better than ever. Ideal location. Design and ambience excellent. The Pembroke Restaurant serves very good food at reasonable prices. Very accommodating staff anxious to please. Lively bar/lounge.Rooms well outfitted with good bedding. I am a longtime visitor. Sixty-five years ago I stayed here when it was the International Hotel.

Exceptional Service & Attention to Detail!
My husband and I loved our stay here! The customer service is excellent, with so many thoughtful touches that made us feel incredibly welcome. A massive shout-out goes to Thomas at the front desk. He went absolutely above and beyond for us, ensuring our check-in was seamless and making us feel valued and right at home from the very start. His warmth and attentiveness really set the tone for our entire trip! We also want to thank Michel in the restaurant for his attentive service. We thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic on-site restaurant and bar, and highly recommend this hotel for a perfect couples' getaway in DuPont Circle!

Graduation Destination
Visited my friends staying at the hotel during graduation, I loved the atmosphere and had a great time at The Doyle bar with them. Their room looked nice, would have enjoyed a higher floor myself, but they really liked it. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and polite. Will be back for the Hugo Spritz.

Never again.
This pains me but the entire stay was AWFUL. We booked via Amex Platinum, called last week to confirm the benefits, then were told something totally different upon arrival. We tried communicating via their "text" portal,ZERO RESPONSES. I called atleast 5 times back to back, no answer. The room was "upgraded"and there were MULTIPLE issues with the water, amenities, ac. I'm so pissed for booking this room, as it is NOT 5 STAR, at all. The service made my stay the worst aspect with the ONLY positive bring Abby from The Pembroke Restaurant. We tried the Doyle bar, waited 15 minutes with NO service, and I can tell you we will NEVER Stay here again. Terrible, terrible service. The location is the only benefit, and I mean the ONLY benefit. Amex needs to drop this hotel from their brands because this is an absolute embarrassment
