About the Hotel

The name Dupont may be the most common surname in France, but in the United States it is known as one of the toniest areas of Washington DC. At the very top of Dupont Circle is The Dupont Hotel, perhaps the only place in the city where politicos and party leaders can peacefully co-exist. Newly re-opened and part of The Doyle Collection of properties, The Dupont Hotel's modernly designed spaces are evident throughout the public areas as well as behind each and every guest room door. Contemporary appointments add another layer of luxury to the hotel's harmonious setting. Amenities are abundant with private physical training, in-suite massage and spa services, heated bathroom floors and an entire level reserved for those wanting private membership to the property.

Reviews for The Dupont Circle

Wanted to love it, but felt pretty average for DC

Stayed 3 nights for a business trip in one of the corner rooms. Lot's of light (maybe too much - only shutters on the windows not blinds). Nice amenities in the bathroom and comfortable bed and linens. Room configuration was odd and felt cramped. All the staff was very kind. Location is good and close to restaurants etc. Dined in both restaurants and neither was memorable. Breakfast sandwich from the coffee shop was great. For the nightly price paid, the room felt more tired than I had hoped. Would consider staying again in another room type.

Beautiful stay, great location

Beautiful hotel in a great neighborhood. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Restaurant and bars on property were wonderful. The Pembroke was a great place for a delicious breakfast before day of sightseeing. Doyle was a comfortable, stylish bar for people watching and relaxing after tours and museums. Wonderful staff at front desk, hosts at The Pembroke were great. Hotel manager Amir Sakr came by and introduced himself at breakfast, nice touch.

Above and beyond

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 5 days ago

The front desk went above and beyond to secure us the most perfect room! While the food at both restaurants was fantastic, the breakfast at Pembroke was an absolute highlight—a truly memorable start to each day.

Excellent hotel

This hotel was fantastic. Where do I begin? Great location, incredibly friendly staff, delicious breakfast food, very efficient and fast check-in and check-out, great bar, nice clientele, wonderful people watching, heated bathroom floors, pressed nice cotton sheets, good sunny view out of the window, turn down service, and Nespresso in the room. NO Kourig, thank you.

Wonderful stay

This is a very professionally run hotel. Staff is well trained and friendly. Rooms and public areas are clean and well maintained. Excellent location near DuPont Circle Metro Stop. Very comfortable bed. Rooms are a bit small and bathroom sink area is only partially enclosed so there is limited privacy. Shower and toilet are behind a closed door. High end bathroom amenities and plush robes in the room. .Breakfast was terrific! Will stay here again.
