The name Dupont may be the most common surname in France, but in the United States it is known as one of the toniest areas of Washington DC. Pretty and Walkable
Always one of my favorite parts of town because of the great restaurants and shops here. There is a big Metro station and the surroundings are pretty neighborhoods that are walkable. It has long been an upscale neighborhood.

What a stay with excellent staff!
I recently stayed at The Dupont Circle Hotel for a business trip over St. Patrick’s week. I have nothing but positive words to say about my experience at this wonderful hotel. From the staff, to the amenities. Everything was so perfect. To Aisha, she is an absolute credit to Dupont. She was always at hand in an instant for any help that was needed and nothing would stop her from ensuring I had what was needed to support my work. Aisha was full of energy and positivity that spread throughout. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! 😊

Worn and badly needed update.
Disappointing stay so far. The hotel does not live up to its description—both the condition and cleanliness fall short of what one would reasonably expect. At check-in, I raised these concerns with the staff and was initially told that no alternative rooms were available. After requesting to speak with a manager, another room suddenly became available for viewing. However, upon returning to the front desk, that option was no longer offered, which was both confusing and frustrating. I have now been promised a different room tomorrow, and I remain hopeful that this will significantly improve my experience. I would genuinely appreciate the hotel taking this opportunity to address these issues and provide a room that better reflects the standard advertised.

Wonderful Wedding Weekend!
Wonderful weekend at the Dupont Circle Hotel! We were greeted by the amazing and charming Paul at the Valet and his enthusiasm, warmth and friendliness set the tone for our wedding weekend getaway. The contemporary coziness of the hotel was perfect for our style of comfort and luxury. Breakfast at the Pembroke Restaurant was excellent starting with a nice selection of some of the best croissants we’ve ever tasted! The hotel is perfectly located to explore the lovely and historic DC area! We’ll be back!
