The name Dupont may be the most common surname in France, but in the United States it is known as one of the toniest areas of Washington DC. This hotel IS NOT A 5 STAR! Look at the photos posted of the shower alone. DISGUSTING!!! The photos are photoshopped to make the place look clean and bright but really it’s dirty and dingy. We checked in at 11:30am and through my chase reserve edit booking we were supposed to be able to check in early and not only did they not check us in early, they were over an hour late. They didn’t have a room ready till after 5pm. I highly recommend not wasting your money and spend it at the holiday inn for a much cleaner property and rooms at a fraction of the cost! DO BETTER DUPONT CIRCLE!!!!!!

The staff at The DuPont Circle hotel all went out of their way to make our stay memorable. From the ladies who cleaned our room to the waiters in The Pembroke, all were friendly and professional. Our room was comfortable with everything we needed. We stayed for ten days … loved the location. The breakfasts and dinners at the Pembroke were delicious. We look forward to returning!

I want to express my gratitude to the woman at the front desk who before checking me out asked if I was sure I was "done with my room, you sure you have everything, your phone...?" What followed was 20-30 mins of chaos searching for my phone. She graciously walked me back to the room, not once but twice. We lifted quilts, moved the bed. On our second visit, we noticed it was in the bathroom. Her patience, understanding and professionalism were exemplary. She truly exemplifies customer true customer service. I would also be remiss if I didn't say that several of the other employees in the lobby including the door man were offering help and extending their support. Well done DuPont- this whole team represent the brand well!

I just wanted to leave a little review to say how lovely Estella was during my stay. As someone who stays at in hotels regularly for work and is often travelling, having such a friendly and welcoming face really makes a difference. Estella was honestly so kind, welcoming and helpful from start to finish, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. She went above and beyond to help me whenever I needed anything and always did it with a smile. It’s people like her that can completely change your experience of a hotel and make it feel like a home away from home. Thank you so much for all your help and kindness, you really made my stay so much better, and I truly appreciate everything you did!
