InterContinental Washington DC - The Wharf

I recently traveled on a business trip with three friends and had the pleasure of dining at Willow Song at the InterContinental. From the moment we arrived, the valet team—Terrance, Michael, Girmay, Berhnu, Sami, Berry, Solomon, and Henok—was incredibly welcoming, professional, and courteous. They made us feel genuinely welcomed and gave us a great first impression of the hotel. The food was the real highlight of our evening, and Chef Jeffrey Williams deserves special recognition because his food truly tastes amazing. We shared several dishes so we could experience different flavors, including the Duck Ragu with fusilli, parsley, and olive oil, the Cresto di Gallo with crispy oxtail, garlic mascarpone, broccoli rabe, roasted tomato, and pea tendril, the Squid Ink Orecchiette with jumbo lump crab, spicy tomato jus, herb crumble, and citrus olive oil ricotta, and the Veggie Lasagna with herb ricotta and red gravy. Every dish brought something different to the table, but what stood out most was the depth of flavor and how well the ingredients worked together. Chef Jeffrey Williams has clearly created a menu that doesn't just look impressive—it genuinely tastes incredible. We were four people dining together, and all of us were impressed by the quality and flavor of the food. Between Chef Jeffrey Williams' outstanding cooking, the atmosphere at Willow Song, and the wonderful hospitality from Terrance, Michael, Girmay, Berhnu, Sami, Berry, Solomon, and Henok, this was an excellent experience from beginning to end. It was one of the highlights of our business trip, and we would absolutely return. Terrance was over the top amazing by the way...

Fantastic location where restaurants abound.

We had an incredible three night stay here! The location was perfect for our family to wander around at night and have easy access to food and coffee. The beds were so comfortable and the staff warm and welcoming. We will be returning!
