Property lives up to the expectation and then some
From the moment we entered the property we were greeted by Shujaat Khan with the most friendly disposition. When his assistance was requested with reservations he did not hesitate to secure the opportunity for us to celebrate a birthday together. His spirit was kind, but he is also capable, and a delightfully wonderful human being. A true pleasure to be a guest at Intercontinental but especially to be cared for. Much appreciation to Mr. Khan!

A very pleasant stay
Great stay overall. The hotel has a great location, is very clean, and the staff is genuinely kind. A special mention to Sipón, our waiter at the restaurant—he was extremely attentive and helpful, and really made us feel well taken care of. The concierge was also friendly and useful. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful weekend stay
Wonderful wonderful hotel! Room overlooking the river was priceless, staff always greeted me with a smile. I enjoyed my stay very much and kudos to the team.

Great location and even better service!
We come in to Washington DC every few months to see our daughters. We wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else, primarily due to the consistently great service and the location. We love having so many dining choices within steps and the Wharf is a lovely environment to walk around in.
