Our 42nd Anniversary in Washington DC
Our River view room was terrific… Every member of the hotel seemed generally interested in you as a person and made eye contact and things worked seamlessly… Whispers restaurant on the first floor was very good… and people watching through the large glass windows in an excellent lounge area on the first floor was a delight

I've been an IHG Platinum Ambassador for many years and have stayed at countless properties and I think I can honestly say this was the best stay I've ever had! From jump the doorman offered us cold bottled water on arrival. Alex at the front desk was so wonderful in making sure my Ambassador upgrade was fantastic. You wouldn't believe how beautiful a waterfront suite she arranged for us. I had lunch at the bar and it was great. Food was great, my bartender was great too. One night coming back to the hotel Trey greeted me by name...how did he remember that? It made me feel so special. And they had turn down service and closed all the blinds each night too....nice touch! Of course the location can't be beat. I think I'll have to go back to DC just to stay at the Intercontinental Wharf again.

Erinn at the front desk was amazing!The rooms were amazing. Clean smell great and slept like a baby. The only wish is a mirror in the room for us ladies .

Amazing stay!!
Amazing experience! Perfect location close enough to all the sites, but away from the chaos. Right on the wharf so there is plenty to eat. Aidan at intercontinental gave the best customer service. Would definitely come back and stay here again!

Great stay and spa experience
We had such a wonderful experience at the spa at the InterContinental! Even though the spa was closed for the day and there were no online reservations available, I called the hotel directly and they had the spa reach out to me first thing the next morning to confirm appointments. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were even offered champagne, which was such a lovely touch. A special thank you to Sarah and Hong, who took great care of us and made the experience feel personalized. The massage itself was very relaxing. It was exactly what we needed. The lounge area was clean, quiet, and calming. Everything about the experience felt well thought out. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing, stress free spa day! Hotel stay was great too. :)
