Exceptional

I stayed at the hotel with family for a couple of days for my 30th wedding vow renewal ceremony. The experience was wonderful, the staff were friendly and efficient. They recognized and acknowledged our special occasion and made us feel very special.

The Intercontinental is a beautiful hotel in the heart of SW DC on The Wharf! The staff was courteous and incredibly helpful! Special thanks to Myles Celdrei who helped us get checked in comfortably and made sure our stay was absolutely lovely! The rooms are spotless and well appointed, the views are incredible, and I will definitely be a repeat visitor!

Great business trip to DC

Fantastic location in DC, with a vibrant vibe in the surrounding wharf neighborhood. Rooms were spacious, immaculately clean and comfortable. The hotel bar made excellent drinks, great place to unwind after a long day of meetings. Shoutout to Erinn who was very helpful and thoughtful throughout my stay!

Business trip to the DC Interncontinental

Fantastic hotel in the Wharf neighborhood of DC. The neighborhood is walkable with lots of shops, restaurants and activity during the afternoon and evening. I was here for a meeting in the hotel, and was very impressed by the buffet for breakfast and lunch. The hotel room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The bed was medium firm and comfortable. Only complaint is the TV in the room never went fully dark when I turned it off, so glad I had a sleep mask on hand.

Spacious rooms and great location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

A smart, clean hotel with friendly staff. Great location for access to restaurants and bars. Room was a great size and view over the river was nice. Breakfast was nice but the amenity charge is just a rip off. 30$ a day for bottled water and WiFi - just a joke and I don’t believe it’s optional. I personally thought the hotel was pricey for what it was especially as the pool wasn’t open even thought the sun was shining. We were told it was the end of the season so it probably wouldn’t reopen. G re at location but I’d try other hotels in our return.
