Spreading the word of a jewel in DC!
Hi all, first let me say that my experience this weekend at the InterContinental Washington D.C. - The Wharf was nothing short of a event planner's dream location. Not only because of the location which is ideal when it comes to visiting DC and experiencing the tourist fun package theme, but let's talk about their staff. This recent visit (we're local) my organization hosted 2 events at the same time which can be challenging in its self. I was never alone and always had the full team at the hotel at our disposal (banquets, doormen, front desk, chef, A/V, Directors of sales, events & catering, cleaning folks and even the chef and his team at Willowsong Restaurant in the hotel) They always make us feel like family when we host our events at this property and are the reason everyone from our staff to attendees enjoyed themselves.
