Wonderful weekend!!
Great weekend experience at the InterContinental on the Wharf! Staff were so accommodating from the front desk, to the Concierge Team to the restaurant employees!! They clearly care about providing their guests a wonderful time. Will be back for many more meaningful memories!!

Nickel and dime you to death
Parking is insane $75 for a night. I had to valet because there was literally no parking at all when I arrived. I ordered room service. Found out when I looked at my check more closely that there was already an 18% tip on the bill. So I tipped 2 times. They charge an amenity fee. What amenities? Coffee in the room and 2 bottles of water? Just felt super Nickel and dimed. Not cool at all. Very upsetting.

Willowsong - Amazing Food!
We dined at Willowsong for my Dad’s 65th birthday and Sipan helped make it such a lovely and memorable evening! The food was phenomenal and the service was great as well. Everyone was very kind and accommodating and made it a night to remember! Will be back for sure.

Outstanding service and location
This was our fourth or fifth time staying at the InterContinental at the Wharf, and we will continue returning. The service is just outstanding, from the valet and bellmen, to the front desk team, to the room service and restaurant. Every staff member I encountered was exceedingly helpful and enthusiastic. The location is terrific as well. The Wharf is a newer development in DC, on a marina from the Potomac River, with high-end restaurants and several venues. On this trip, we saw a show at the Anthem, a musical at Arena Stage, and a book discussion at Politics and Prose bookstore, all within walking distance of the hotel. One morning I walked over to the National Mall where all the monuments and museums are, about a 20-minute walk, and another morning I walked from one end of the Wharf to the other while enjoying the water, birds, and boats. We will be sure to return in the future!
