My sister and I spent the weekend here May 15-17. We had a superb time here. The service was perfect, the ambiance terrific and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and special. My sister left her designer sunglasses by mistake on a table and Eden (the breakfast hostess) saw them and returned them to my sister. Kevin Lauter, the food and beverage manager, was excellent and gave us great advice and much needed help with Chat GPT!

By far our favorite hotel in DC. This was our second stay there and it was as perfect as the first. The hotel has a boutique feel but all the amenities of a larger hotel. You never feel overrun by lots of guests or tourists - which is the case in some of the larger five star DC hotels. We love the restaurant - beautifully appointed with a fabulous breakfast. Most of all - the service is fantastic - from the bellmen to the front desk staff to the waiters - everyone there went out of their way to make for a perfect visit.

Charming hotel and very friendly staff especially during check-in. My one and only complaint is how noisy my stay was. I highly recommend asking for a room far away from the house-keeping closet space because they are constantly in and out and shutting doors at all hours of the day. The doors to the rooms need to be sealed better but I understand it's an older hotel.

just returned from an incredible 5-night stay at The Jefferson, and it exceeded my expectations as always. While I’ve stayed at other 5-star hotels, the friendly and welcoming service here is a significant step above. Every single employee—from the valets to the front desk—went out of their way to make me feel at home. The rooms are elegant, blending historic charm with modern luxury, and the attention to detail in the housekeeping was perfect. If you're looking for wonderful service in a stunning, historic setting, this is the place to stay.
