💕When your DC hotel has its own resident historian, you know you’ve picked a great place to stay! I can’t say enough about this incredible hotel: beautiful, historically restored, luxurious, primo location, and impeccable service! Why would you stay anywhere else!

The Jefferson Hotel Bar is one of the finest establishments in DC - great food, ambient atmosphere, and ideal location. But there’s only reason I come back here again and again: the bar staff. Special praise for Andrew, who is engaging and efficient in equal measure, a great ambassador for the Jefferson. As a DC resident, it’s my pleasure to recommend the Jefferson Hotel Bar (and its staff) to my clients. Darragh

We stayed at the Jefferson for only one night but it couldn’t have been better! Every single person there is friendly and more than accommodating. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a bigger room. They left us yummy snacks and gave us tips on where to go. This was so helpful because the government was shut down and some of the things we wanted to see were closed. We were greeted by the staff every time we left or returned. They were so nice and engaging. They truly made us feel at home! We visited the bar to have drinks and snacks. The bartenders and staff are simply amazing. It is very quaint and, if you are lucky, they have an amazing piano player. We only caught a little bit of the live music but it was wonderful. In the morning, we had breakfast in the restaurant. It is truly a 5 star experience and we are sorry we did not get to enjoy dinner the night before. Mauve next time. We had a little snafu at check out as we got to our destination and one piece of luggage was missing. It was a disaster averted, however, because they drove it to us and even called the next morning to apologize. In retrospect, it was equally my fault because I did not check the back of the car to be sure it was all there. We are very appreciative for the extra effort. We will definitely be back!

Jefferson Hotel is a gem. We stayed there three nights and LOVED every minute of it. The manager Omar was exceptional, cheerful, wonderful and a terrific problem solver. I appreciated his efforts and profesionalism. Concierge Paul was very impressive. I tired to describe a restaurant I visited in January and showed him the photo of the room, I just couldn't remember the name. Paul was able to identify and book the dinner for us. The breakfast was divine. I love eggs benedict but my goodness, they cooked the eggs perfectly, just how I like them, all three mornings in the row. I enjoyed the bath and shower's high water pressure... Wonderful staff all the way around, great location and peaceful elegance. I am sorry I didn't write the review sooner but we had to let our dog go to the Rainbow bridge. Keep up good work and I hope to see you soon. Anna

I travel only if I can stay in 5-7 star hotels so I am what they call a hotel snob. Jefferson by far is the hotel I love most even having stayed in Dubai's 7 stars. The friendliness of the staff who truly loving working there and the above and beyond service, cleanliness, attention to every detail, upgrades that they don't have to but do anyway, food quality, room comfort all in all I would say by far is the best stay globally. I look forward to my stays there. The managers Sasha, Merideth and Samar know how to run a hotel. Thank you
