Reviews for The Madison Hotel

Fun atmosphere

My husband and I had a lovely meal at Lady Madison and Abdul was friendly and attentive while we there. The hotel as a whole was fantastic.

Le Meridian Restaurant

We had dinner at Lady Madison, good price and amazing quality, but the highlight definitely is our server Mr Abdul. From start to finish exemplary service, very kind, and very good man. Apparently the other customers know him by name too so he must be very consistently amazing. Be sure to order the NY steak with truffle mash, and be sure to ask for Abdul!

Le Meridian Washington was great

4-day stay in DC was made even better by this hotel. The staff were universally friendly and customer oriented. Especially Abdul in the bar/restaurant area. He was jovial and a good kidder, which we like. Micah at the desk was very informative at check-in and when I had a mischarge on complimentary items, he corrected it immediately and with no push back. Nice lounge and lobby that are all smoothly connected together. Very nice breakfast buffet. We will stay again.

Will come back

Excellent service and amazing staff. Abdul at the bar and Samira at the front desk were particularly friendly and helpful. We come to DC often to visit our child in college and this will be our go-to hotel from now on.

Boring hotel with dangerous bathroom step and unaccommodating staff.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

Just a bad boring hotel. Rooms have no historic value. Front desk was not helpful. The bathrooms were upgraded by just putting tile over the floor. I made for a weird step up. Two of us were in the room and we both fell going into the bathroom. It was dangerous. Front desk manager said "oh well I'm sorry and didn't know". I felt like it was a lie as every room was that way. I asked to move rooms and there were not options. There was no historic value of the hotel or rooms. It could be any mid range hotel in any city.
