Best rain delay stay ever!
Perfect location and very high end atmosphere. Tom Brady and his son stayed there! Walk out to the wharf and minutes from the National Mall.

LaNetra is the best!
We just returned from our overnight at the Salamander this past weekend. It was the perfect getaway. Every single staff member we encountered, from the valet, bell service, front desk, housekeeping, lounge, and breakfast, was wonderful. We appreciated Malik's help with our luggage and getting settled into our room. Pong took great care of us at the bar in the lounge. LaNetra, at the front desk, was truly exceptional and is an absolute gem. She has a lovely combination of professionalism and friendly warmth, and her commitment to providing a special and memorable stay was evident. She made sure that our group of five teachers celebrating the end of the school year had the best getaway ever. We cannot thank LaNetra enough, and we look forward to coming back to the Salamander in the future.

Perfect fit for my birthday getaway
I went to visit the Salamander for my birthday. I booked the Spa first then decided to stay the night in DC. The spa experience was top tier they make you feel so welcome and allow you to relax and enjoy your experience. The massage bed and the masseuse were amazing. However the highlight of the visit for me was actually my check in experience. When I went to check in Lanetra was so welcoming and when she realized it was my birthday she got excited and made me feel more excited I was there to celebrate. While I.was in my room she had arranged for a wonderful gift to be sent up along with a card. The gesture was so heartwarming. On my way out she was happy to see me again and excited that my birthday went so well. While all of the staff was great Lanetra is a special gem. I hope you have the chance to meet her if you go to the Salamander DC.

Five stars all around!!
We had a fantastic weekend at the Salamander in DC, the staff was super friendly and accommodating! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The elevators were super fast, never had to wait. The hotel was in an excellent location, walkable to the Warf and all the monuments and museums. The hotel also offers bikes as well. Would stay here again!

Not up to the standards of our stay at previously booked luxury link hotels. No in room coffee bar, no mini bar, blamed everything on Covid, and they were a new hotel, we would not stay there again. Definitely not 5 star, location good, no ice maker you had to call for it.
