Work conference

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

Went for a conference and worked well for that. Really stand out amazing towels and a better than average gym. A bit on the pricey side for what it has. Conference rooms were freezing cold which was not great.

Noisy area. Badly stained carpet

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

A two night stay in a one bedroom suite. The suite itself was very nice but I was immediately disappointed as I walked into the room as the white/cream carpet looked quite grubby from numerous large coffee stains and an area of wear. For the price of a suite I find this to be unacceptable. Later, I discovered the ironing board cover had a rip. In that vein, the iron was missing so I went to reception to advise them and was told they would have one delivered to the room. The next day it has still not been delivered so I had a word with the chamber maid who dealt with the matter immediately. Enough said. Our suite was to the rear of the hotel so the noise from the trains and road noise was very prevalent. Unfortunately at the front of the hotel there is currently a large amount of construction which added to the overall noise. In view of the above, I currently wouldn't stay here again.

Wonderful hotel and amenities. The rooms are top notch, and great drinks at the lounge with an inviting atmosphere. Walking distance to The Wharf, Washington Monument and the National Mall. One of the best I've stayed in anywhere!

Not up to the standards of our stay at previously booked luxury link hotels. No in room coffee bar, no mini bar, blamed everything on Covid, and they were a new hotel, we would not stay there again. Definitely not 5 star, location good, no ice maker you had to call for it.
