Amazing experience

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

We went to celebrate 4th of July, stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is centrally located, our room had direct view of the 4th of July fireworks. The room was beautiful, great amenities, amazing restaurant Dōgon, highly recommend. And our experience was made so much better by the wonderful hotel staff who made us welcome and ensured our stay was up to the highest standards! We would like to say Thank You to Nate, one of the first hotel staff we met. Nate’s friendly smile and excellent customer service skills were unmatched! And we also would like to extend our Thank You to Tavi, the hotel manager for his professionalism and committed to ensure the hotel guests are well taken care of! And we appreciate every one of the hotel staff for making our stay unforgettable!

Excellent Spa Experience

Stella was a fantastic masseuse! Went to the spa for their signature relaxation massage. Also a facial. She was attentive and friendly! Facilities are clean and well staffed. I used the sauna and vitality tub. Thank you!

Absolute Luxury and Faultless Hospitality From the moment i arrived, my stay at the Salamander was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel perfectly blends sophisticated elegance with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. What stood out the most:Impeccable Service: The staff went above and beyond at every turn.Every interaction-from the front desk to the valets-was marked by genuine hospitality and attention to detail. Stunning Accommodations: my room was beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, and offered the perfect sanctuary World-Class Atmosphere: Whether relaxing in the gorgeous common areas or enjoying the fantastic lobby bar the ambiance of the property is unmatched. It is rare to find a hotel that executes luxury so effortlessly while maintaining such a welcoming heart. I had a truly wonderful stay and I already looking forward to next visit. Highly recommended.

All Hype. Doesn't deliver.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

All talk, no walking the talk. Excuses! Room not cleaned - Housekeeping arrived at 8:50am to clean (5:50am in California, my time). Sent away and we called at 11am for cleaning...we left...returned exhausted from 97 degree weather at 9pm-room was never cleaned. We were told they were "too busy, but that's not an excuse" - of course it's an excuse. Because jetlag, we requested cleaning after 11am (8am our time), and were told they can only guarantee first thing in the morning!!! Almost no drawers in room for clothes. Safe in closet takes up 1/2 the closet. Allegedly dial "O" for all needs. Got transferred to Room Service, and got voicemail to leave s message. Booked through American Express FHR program offering room upgrade. Upon arrival we were told no complimentary upgrades were available, but could be upgraded for $190 more per night. Felt slimy. Concierge, Jennifer, has been excellent!

Not up to the standards of our stay at previously booked luxury link hotels. No in room coffee bar, no mini bar, blamed everything on Covid, and they were a new hotel, we would not stay there again. Definitely not 5 star, location good, no ice maker you had to call for it.
