Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square

The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful with our enquiries the only thing that stops a five star was the fact they had no draft beer even though they advertised it on the menu and a very minor bottle beer list.

We had a 2 night stay here, room was ready early (we had let them know in advance of our arrival time) We had a beautiful corner room with plenty of space even with the cot. Breakfast which was included for us had a really good offering for both kids and adults and was really nice, we had dinner here one of the nights aswell which was again really nice with a separate kids menu. Location was fab for exploring, located right near The White House.

What a wonderful experience it was to stay at Sofitel. I would definitely consider staying there agin.

My husband and I stayed at The Sofitel for a couple’s get away weekend. We had a great experience here from start to finish. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is perfect. On day one we walked to most major monuments. On day two we wanted to relaxed so we booked a tour bus only a block away. There are quite a few amazing restaurants walking distance as well or the Hotel Restaurant is also fantastic. We loved the bar. We will definitely come back again.
