Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square

We stayed here this past weekend for our daughter’s 19th birthday. The staff at the front desk always greeted us and helped us with anything we needed. We had an early flight to DC on Friday and then a late flight out on Sunday. They kept our luggage no problems at all! Anytime we needed anything they were on top of it. Always had a freshwater if you needed one because it was a hot weekend. Housekeeping was wonderful! We would definitely stay here again very close to the White House! My only complaint would be their pillows were not comfortable they felt flat. My feet almost felt like they were elevated in the bed when I was trying to sleep, but that would be my only complaint. They need some memory foam pillows or something.

From the moment our large group arrived we were in excellent hands. Check-in was fast and without issue. The hotel is beautiful, and was a nice haven for our group. We would like to recognize AJ for the exceptional service he provided throughout our group's stay. From the moment we arrived, he was attentive, professional, and consistently available to ensure every detail was handled seamlessly. He responded promptly and effectively to every request throughout our stay, right through our departure. It was a pleasure working with someone so organized, personable, and genuinely invested in providing an exceptional guest experience. AJ is absolutely an asset to the Sofitel Washington DC Lafayette Square. We look forward to our next stay here.

My first stay at the Sofitel was on business. It is the perfect location! The hotel is the perfect size. You are not just a number! They are very attentive to their guests. Our most recent stay was a family trip! Once again, The Sofitel did not disappoint! We reserved 3 rooms which were all clean and comfortable as usual. The hotel is a perfect distance from sightseeing and has several very nice restaurants within walking distance. The Sofitel restaurant is delicious. The bar is a great place to gather and have a drink. The outdoor patio was our favorite place to have a drink and visit. We will ALWAYS stay at the Sofitel when visiting DC!
