Super Friendly Staff and Modern Hotel
The Thompson Hotel exceeded my expectations with early check-in, super clean and modern updated room, great staff, and beautiful bar and restaurant. Steak and Eggs for breakfast was perfectly done. Thought the $30 amenity usage fee was high and a $27 martini at the Roof top bar was crazy. Other than that, great location and super friendly staff, from the check-in, to the housekeeping and bell hops.

The best French 75
It wasn’t the most seamless check in as AMEX didn’t send over my confirmation. But that quickly drifted away. The staff is very attentive. People know you by name. They remember your meal options. It’s large enough that your needs are met, but quaint enough that it feels like home. The kicker, Antonio at the bar makes the best French 75 I’ve ever tried. Ask for him by name, and mentioned I sent you

This is an excellent hotel in Washington DC, especially within the higher group. I really recommend this. The neighborhood the Navy Yard is excellent
