Step foot in our luxury hotel in Washington D.C. and discover an urban resort located along the banks of the Potomac River. Here, you’ll uncover a hotel unlike anything in Washington D.C. — a place where modern design blends with an iconic landmark to redefine luxury. The Watergate Hotel's flowing avant-garde architecture was designed by Luigi Moretti to emulate the mighty Potomac, and its stunning new Ron Arad-designed interior lives up to the building's original elegance. Complementing the hotel's new, modern feel are the retro-chic staff uniforms, made by Mad Men costume designer Janie Bryant. The Watergate Hotel takes classic elegance and bold mid-century modern design and adds all of the extravagance and warmth of contemporary luxury. This one-of-a-kind hotel pays tribute to its own storied past, while paving the way for a new chapter to be written.

Rare today is the experience to spend a long weekend at a hotel where from the moment a guest enters to the moment of departure, a personal connection takes place. Jessica welcomed us to our 1st Watergate visit with warmth snd an overview of offerings at the hotel. That afternoon a bowl of fresh fruit arrived in our room with a hand-written note that expressed a desire to provide whatever is needed to enjoy the experiences at Watergate and DC. This was matched by the outreach of the concierge, Mesfin, assisting with recommending DC visits to handing off an umbrella when an unexpected storm moved in. He wanted our stay to be extraordinary. This left us with fond memories of our Capital as we began the 250th Celebration of America.

We stayed at The Watergate Hotel during the Parent Leadership Conference and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was excellent, and the history of the property made our trip even more memorable. Our family made memories here that we will never forget, and our son especially loved learning about the Watergate scandal. A truly special stay in Washington, DC.

The Watergate Hotel was excellent and the staff was very professional. The hotel is perfect for a vacation or a weekend getaway. The hotel is not personalized with amenities and luxury items which makes staying more of a dream than a vacation. The hotel view a night is amazing and rooftop acres has great views as well. I highly recommend dining here and enjoying the historic GeorgeTown area which provides walking and bike paths. I used my I Prefer points and staying here was just a breeze. I can’t wait to visit again!

Our experience couldn’t have been better. Sarah checked us in and was so welcoming. She said “what ever you need please contact me”. Well we did some assistance with this or that and I must tell you Sarah was so professional and polite she really enhanced our stay. I employ 380 team members and employees. Please pay close attention to Sarah, she is a winner and one that can move the Watergate brand forward. Thanks. Kent Hendricks room 330

I had high expectations from the hype by our conference organizer and they were exceeded. The staff is excellent. I had so many questions/needs this trip and they didn’t bat an eye answering them. The front desk, restaurant and event staff have all been world-class. The decor is both interesting and comfortable. The layout is unconventional which only adds to the delight of staying in this historic property. I can’t wait to come back with my family!
