The Watergate Hotel

Really enjoyed my stay. The valet team especially stood out..very polite, quick, and careful with my car. Everything from getting my keys back to the charges and receipt was handled smoothly. The front desk was friendly and the room was clean. A little pricey, but overall a good experience..

We knew the hotel would be crowded because of the event, so I expected getting in and out to be a headache. Surprisingly, it wasn’t at all. The parking attendants kept the line moving, communicated clearly, and treated every vehicle with care. Even with guests arriving nonstop, they stayed courteous and never seemed overwhelmed. After checking in, we settled into a lovely room with a beautiful view. Everything was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and we had a great evening at the property. The entire visit felt easy from arrival through checkout. Definitely a place I’d return to.

We had a wonderful weekend at The Watergate Hotel. The room was beautiful and very clean. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and welcoming. Even arriving and leaving was easy...the valet attendants were quick and courteous. Overall, a really enjoyable stay and we would definitely come back.

Great experience from start to finish. Period. The aromatherapy that greets you in the lobby – fantastic touch. Our room was new and made available well ahead of check-in time. I’d heard the service was exceptional and it didn’t disappoint. Valets, front desk, spa, restaurants – very attentive staff. The pool was lovely, a terrific way to start or end our busy day. The view from the Top of Gate - beautiful and very romantic! Another great way to end the day. Location was perfect, between the river (there's a river walk) and the bustle of the city’s sites. All very accessible. No time to experience the spa, but that's a must when we visit again. We will return.

We stayed in The Watergate Hotel for one night only and absolutely loved everything about it. First of all, the staff are just the best, so dedicated and professional and cannot do enough for you. Would particularly like to mention Garnett Coad - what a gem! An asset to the Watergate Hotel. He gave us the Scandal Room tour and made it unforgettable. He also helped us when we asked for a recommendation for a brunch/diner and we absolutely loved his choice! The room, the spa, the roof top bar, it is all first class! Would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Washington DC.
