We stayed at this hotel and on our most recent trip to Washington DC in July 2026 . We booked the room based off of the reviews on TripAdvisor and the pictures from the website.. I will say I’m extremely disappointed. The hotel was nothing like the reviews or the pictures.. We drove to the hotel from Florida and when we got to the hotel, it was about 930 at night. I had requested a high for room and not close to the elevator. Upon checking in, we received your keys, went to the hotel room. We were directly next to the elevator and our room keys did not work. We proceeded to go back down to the front desk explain we did not want to be near the elevator and on a high floor andthey moved to our room. They moved us to a floor higher and down the hall when we walked into the room the room was dirty. Nothing like the pictures verydry. There was dirt and garbage on the floor of the bathroom. We went back down to the front desk and told them the situation so they moved us to another room and this is going on about 1030 night. The last and final room we remove to was still not up to par.. The hotel did provide slippers. I put them on because I didn’t even wanna walk on the floors and when I did, it felt like I was walking around in a bar. Everything stuck to the floor as you walked because there are no carpeting just one big rug..The floors are concrete with some kind of covering over them of like an epoxy, but it was extremely sticky like they were dirty. The hotel bathroom tiles had mold and mildew in them. The bathroom walls had handprints that were dirty, either makeup or feces we did not know. The only reason why we stayed is because we were so tired from driving 15 hours and moving three different rooms. We just wanted to goto sleep. My original reservation was supposed to be for a city view room, and I ended up with a view of other buildings and a playground.. from the pictures the rooms look very light and bright, and these rooms or anything, but light and bright. It’s very dark. The lighting is very poor. We were supposed to be at the hotel for four nights and we cut it our stay in half.. I was so grossed out and discussed it by the hotel room that we wanted to cut our trip to Washington DC short.. which was extremely disappointing because we had a lot of things planned. I spoke to the director of the hotel about the situation she understood and she did not charge us for leaving early, but I asked her for a refund on the room because of the condition and she would not do that. She promised us instead 18,000 points in their rewards program which I never received. I don’t really need the points because of how I was treated by the hotel and the situation of the cleanliness of the rooms, I would not want to stay in another one of their hotels. Even with our vehicle being valet parked when it was returned to us, it was full of feces, and the valet was embarrassed and couldn’t clean Everything was documented and I have emails and proof going back-and-forth with the hotel. They know the condition of all the rooms and the situation and how unsatisfactory everything was. The hotel lobby is like a club. When we got our car back from the valet, it was full of feces, and the ballet was embarrassed and tried to clean it off, but he couldn’t. And we had to go through a car wash as soon as we left Washington DC.. I see a lot of positive reviews, but I find them very surprising after my experience because I booked the hotel based on those reviews and alli have to say it was extremely disappointing. So much that we had to cut our vacation short. I would not recommend this hotel

Loved every bit of it - staff and the overall experience (incl. Breakfast and Bar) was great. Would love to be back and recommend giving it a shot.

The staff are excellent and the lounge area is terrific. Only real short coming is no places to hang towels in the bathroom.

Great location! All with walking distance to National monuments. Near Union Station and Airport. Good vibe inside and out. The rooms and amenities were great! Price was on point. All walkways and elevators were free and clear of debris. No outside noise from inside the rooms, which made for a good nights sleep. Service at front desk was very helpful and welcoming. Great hangout for evening dinner and or gathering with friends with the live DJ. Breakfast till 4pm always a plus w/call your mother next to mercy me restaurant/bar.

Great hotel! Always clean, in a good location, and has excellent customer service. Lobby bar is a fun spot on Friday and Saturday nights. Will be back for sure.
