Great location in Foggy Bottom. Cool vibes in the lobby, bar & restaurant. Would stay there again, for sure! Comfortable bed, good sized room. All staff were very friendly and helpful.

We came to town for the Freedom 250 race and found the hotel clean and quite. It was easy to walk to the Metro and get around town. It was close to some tasty restaurants too.

I was looking forward to coming for our conference since this is the second time I would be staying here. It was better this time than last time, and I was prepared to get a turntable and play records in my room even. Check-in was simple and fairly quick. The food for the conference and receptions were much better this year, there was improvement! Bar staff was the same as last year, prices were definitely higher for regular drinks like beers, but they have a service charge and DC pays higher wages so you don't have to tip anymore. Our room was upgraded and was larger than last year. It was quiet sleeping at night. One negative was our room shower. It has no door or curtain (I guess to look cool) but then spills water onto the rest of the floor. To prevent this in our room, apparently staff has angled the shower head (which is very high, could not reach to re-adjust) directly onto the wall where the shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers are. And by doing so it is impossible to get any dispensed liquid without the shower water showering it out of your hands. So you have to turn the shower off to dispense the stuff you want and then turn the shower back on. Like back in the navy I guess. Check out was easy. The elevators were fast. The second negative is that this hotel is not terribly close to public transportation, close enough to walk while visiting but not close if you have luggage to head to/from Union station or DCA. Closet metro appears to be Foggy Bottom or Farragut. Buses have changed so much I don't know which one is closest. But besides those two negatives, this hotel is nice and staff was nice and I look forward to staying here again and playing more records!

Good overall but extremely busy and needs more staffing. Additionally I was excited for vinyls to play in my room but my record player was removed and not replaced
