And don't forget to take the free shuttle to the French Lick Springs Hotel for dining at 1875 (ask for Marcia) and gambling!

We stayed here for our 25th wedding anniversary. Our stay far exceeded our expectations. We love coming here and relishing the history and the unparalleled beauty that is the West Baden Springs Hotel. There is nothing like this anywhere. Here you can truly step back in time.

We absolutely love this hotel and have stayed there many times. The rich history and grandeur of the hotel with the spectacular grounds is unsurpassed. The lobby dome is unlike anything we have seen and we travel extensively. Our favorite room is one overlooking the lobby with a balcony. During each visit we have found each and every staff member to be extremely helpful. Kudos to Management on their excellent customer service training. A special acknowledgement to Tracy who is a server at the Lobby Bar. Tracy is charming and attentive. She told me she made the best Expresso Martinis .... and three martinis later I concur! We are looking forward to the next visit.

I had never heard of French Lick, Indiana where this luxurious hotel is located along with its sister hotel, the French Lick Hotel. I came to see the Hoosier National Forest and discovered these two very high class hotels nestled in that setting. They have not been marketed well at all. They are getaways. They offer luxurious accommodations and services. You are delivered to another level of sophistication and comfort. The West Baden itself offers peace and quiet and old world charm. The staff are extremely accommodating and welcoming. I had a room with an outer view of the gardens. The room itself was all about comfort and class. Wonderful big bathroom with both a separate bath and shower. You couldn’t have asked for more. I ate dinner in the atrium with soft music playing. It was a lovely experience. There are all the activities available for a first class resort. It occurred to me that this was perfect for a couple—the husband can go off and gamble or golf and a wife can shop, spa, or just sit in the atrium or on the veranda with a drink and a book and soak up the peace and tranquility of the beautiful surroundings.
