West Baden Springs Hotel

The history at this hotel is awesome! We stayed in West Baden Springs. It's so great to stay in a piece of history and watch it come alive in today's day and age. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the property has so many amenities like the complimentary trolley and train to take you to the French Lick Springs Hotel & Casino to explore and see the sites of the town. The rooms are large and accommodating and the pool with jacuzzi was a lovely amenity too. We visited during the holiday festivities and the weekend for the holiday Tree Lighting and Santa Visit. These events were free and they did an amazing job with the authenticity of the Santa & Mrs. Claus and the Tree Lighting had fun music playing, lots of photo opportunities and food trucks for purchase, free hot chocolate, and more. Just a great way to enjoy family friendly activities!

The hotel exceeded our expectations . I've visited before but never stayed. We stayed in a garden view room. The room had everything you could want. A cozy comfortable king bed , a lounge chair and ottoman. Table with 2 chairs large tv I requested a bathtub and also got a separate shower. It had every amenitie. We came on a Wednesday overnight. West Baden is a sister to the French Lick Resort Hotel. The set up can be a bit confusing so let me explain. The French Lick portion is to the west of Baden if looking at it from the road. This portion contains the Casino and the more generic rooms. Meanwhile, the West Baden Hotel contains the grand lobby with the dome ceiling. It was recently restored after a terrible storm. The price of the West Baden hotel is high, however it has great value especially if you are there for a relaxing get-away, romantic trip or even honeymoon. I do suggest, if able to choose the balcony view. It is spotless, very clean everywhere. The noise level is moderate until roughly 10p.m. if you have a balcony view.

We have spent the last two Thanksgiving holidays at the West Baden, and cannot adequately express how much my wife and I haved enjoyed the experience!! The people are gracious and friendly; the accommodations are splendid and the hotel itself is a marvel. It’s just spectacular, and once you enter into the atrium for the first time, you will know exactly why words cannot adequately describe the beauty and feeling you will experience!!!

Second stay at West Baden ...went with my wife and this has officially become our go to place. Already planning our next stay! So many things to do without leaving the property and sitting and relaxing in the atrium is the best.
