Worth the extra money 👍

It’s the wonder of Indiana! Totally worth the money with exquisite rooms, and sitting in the lounge under the dome is mesmerizing! The bar and food is first class, and did I mention the beautiful grounds? Highly recommended! Save up and enjoy it, as it is well worth it !

Fabulous time in a beautiful resort

Fabulous resort with stunning architecture, beautiful rooms, and incredible service, all in the middle of the rolling hills of southern Indiana. Great food, great opportunities to explore the grounds, a real respite—thank you for a memorable stay!!

Not family friendly.

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

We waited for a bus for 15 minutes and were turned away because we have a stroller. We were told we could take a stroller but the bus driver said we would need to wait for the next shuttle so she could fit more people even though we were the second family to be waiting at the bus stop. Not family friendly. Also the food is not very good.

High-end pricing, but quality and service didn't match up

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My mom and I stayed here for 2 nights this week and it was a mixed bag for us, with unfortunately more cons than pros. Pros -Comfortable bed, linens, and pillows -Most of the staff was friendly (if not always helpful or efficient) -The grounds were very pretty and the trolley service made getting around easy -The rotunda/lobby area was beautiful, spacious, and had lots of comfortable seating -The spa facility itself was nice with a comfortable relaxation room, in-locker room dry sauna, and a variety of water types on offer and my mom really enjoyed her service. Cons -The room appeared rather dusty and not fully cleaned. The windows (exterior) were the dirtiest I've ever seen, to the point where you couldn't really see through them. -We were very disappointed to discover at check-in that the indoor pool, fitness center, and hot tub were going to be closed for the majority of our visit for renovation. I didn't receive any notification of that upon booking or after booking/before arrival. -Service at all the on-site restaurants (Power Plant, Steakhouse, Ballard's, Cafe Sinclair's) was extremely slow. I was particularly disappointed in the Steakhouse, which was a splurge, but it didn't feel like a high-end experience at all based on the service or food quality. -The body scrub I got at the Spa was sub-par, primarily because of the therapist who was robotic and cold, not at all welcoming or friendly. She had long, pointy fake nails, which made for an unpleasant experience. The service itself felt perfunctory and rushed. Not at all what I would have expected for that price point.

Very Enjoyable!

First visit since before COVID; love the new bowling and billiards pavillion and history museum within the Hotel. All hotel employees friendly, helpful and professional. When you visit be sure to take the Indiana Landmarks Tour as the Dome has an amazing story to tell!!
