An upscale resort for the entire family
We stayed at West Baden. We had 2 Balcony rooms, a one bedroom suite, and a 2 bedroom suite. Our rooms were excellent! Our group total was 15. We made reservations to eat at Ballards, Hagans, and the Valley Bar and grill. We arrived to the restaurants each night to find our table set and ready for our group. We agree has a family the service and food was best at Hagans (Pete dye golf course). Our server was excellent! We went bowling, golfing, shooting, swimming, and visited the children's activity center. All excellent! There was a tornado warning one night we were there. The West Baden security team had our safety in mind when they well executed a plan to get all guest to the basement. Thank you for a wonderful family extended weekend.

Magnificent location. Relaxing trip.
West Baden Springs is a treasure! I have been several times and always have a positive experience. The hotel is Magnificent. The staff is kind. I would highly recommend taking the tour to hear all the behind the scenes information about this amazing location. It is a bit pricey, so I would recommend going off-season. But you will not be disappointed.

The West Baden Springs Hotel is fantastic! The building is gorgeous, the rooms are comfy and clean, the staff is outstanding, the restaurants and bars are yummy and my dog got to travel with us. We couldn't have asked for anything better!

Grand Budapest in southern Indiana
This hotel does a wonderful job of maintaining an old-world ambience -- meaning, in particular, the courtesy, professionalism and efficiency that apparently prevailed in a bygone era I've only read about. Minus the snobbery, I might add -- which is replaced by Midwestern warmth. Staff goes out of its way to get you everything you want. The central domed hall is very grand and lovely, and the gardens, lit with white mini-lights, are a great place for an evening walk, even in cold weather.
