Our stay here was memorable, and it is something we very much enjoyed. Our room was comfortable and large, and it added greatly to our overall experience. The grounds surrounding the hotel are also worth seeing but I don’t believe we could explore them thoroughly enough during our single night’s stay. The resort also provides a shuttle service which is included and which we used extensively. The various hotels here are popular so that these shuttle vans are often full, but if you need to wait for the next one they do come fairly frequently. We dined at several restaurants during our visit, and we were pleased with each one. The domed atrium at our hotel was extraordinary. one of our few complaints during our stay was the humidity level in our room. While the air conditioning itself was sufficient, we were a little too uncomfortable with the dampness feeling. Now this was during an unusually hot and humid summer night so I doubt this would be a problem during other times of the year. We would be happy to recommend this hotel to others and I believe if we were to stay here again we might want to stay even longer.

We experienced the Murder Mystery Weekend, we made new friends, great memories, and a roaring good time. The all inclusive food was a nice feature for the experience.

The rooms were nice and quite large especially for a hotel as “old” as this one. Recommend a room with abalone’s to get a wonderful view of the domed area. There is a lot of history with this hotel/ resort as well as the French Lick Resort. Only negative wa there is only one relatively small bar ( very limited seating) to have a cocktail in the main congregation area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Indiana's hidden gem, French Lick/West Baden. There are three hotels in the expansive resort. We chose the West Baden Springs Hotel, and it was fabulous! Our room and bath area were spacious and nicely decorated. It was very clean, and they changed towels daily without our having to ask. From our hotel room, we enjoyed the view of the front gardens and fountain; the property is just lovely. We did use the pool and found it very pleasant. Everyone on the property was hospitable and friendly, wherever we went. Quite impressive! The main sitting area of the hotel boasts a huge atrium with a dome that was gorgeous. We ate at Ballards Restaurant in the atrium, which was very good although highly priced. We loved the resort, and we tried to explore everything that was offered by using the trolley.

It’s the wonder of Indiana! Totally worth the money with exquisite rooms, and sitting in the lounge under the dome is mesmerizing! The bar and food is first class, and did I mention the beautiful grounds? Highly recommended! Save up and enjoy it, as it is well worth it !
