We splurged on an Atrium view room for our 30th Anniversary trip & it did not disappoint. The room was very spacious, as was the bathroom with separate water closet, plus a tub/shower combo & a separate tiled shower, too. Inside our room they even had a rose in a vase with a nice note wishing us a happy 30th Anniversary, too! If we could've booked further in advance to request a room with a balcony, then we definitely would've done so, but my husband's job typically has him working random days over the Labor Day holiday weekend, so we had to wait until his work schedule was finalized 2 weeks ago.

We stayed two nights at West Baden Springs Hotel to celebrate my birthday. I had wanted to visit for years, and this seemed like the perfect excuse for a luxury stay. We splurged for a king room with atrium view and balcony. It was perfect! The room and bath were beautiful and accommodating. The mattress provided a most comfortable sleep. The atrium is gorgeous -- so elegant and relaxing. We enjoyed the view from our balcony, and we enjoyed the view from the atrium floor as well. In either location, we could enjoy the music in the atrium. We took the interesting historic tours of both West Baden Springs and French Lick hotels with Indiana Landmarks tour guide Stephanie. She is a delight! We enjoyed exploring both hotels which are a feast for the eyes. Every staff member that we encountered was happy to answer questions and help us in the little ways that we needed. The bellhops were very helpful with our luggage. Guest services Nadine gave me a very cheerful, helpful, and sincere welcome at check-in. Our stay at West Baden Springs was so enjoyable that we decided to visit again. Something this wonderful and close enough to home must be experienced again. We look forward to a return visit.

I’ve traveled to French Lick Resort since the 90’s. When once there was only the ruins of a huge round building and now it’s one of the most beautiful unique hotels I’ve visited. I’m still amazed by the architecture & in awe of the effort it must have taken to make West Baden what it is today. The hotel & the grounds are very well kept. It’s truly a masterpiece! A wonder of the world.

Our family had an absolutely exceptional experience at the French Lick Resort, staying at the West Baden Springs Hotel. My husband and I brought our kids for a getaway, and from start to finish the trip exceeded every expectation. At check-in, Haley at the front desk set the tone with her kindness and professionalism, and Heather went out of her way to make our children feel welcome and engaged. Throughout our stay, the staff at every level—from horseback riding to the arcade, bowling alley, and beyond—were simply outstanding. Every single person we encountered was friendly, attentive, and truly seemed to care about making our visit memorable. Even when a small issue came up, the way it was handled left us impressed. Michael, the manager on duty, personally stepped in and went above and beyond to make sure everything was resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. That level of attention and care is rare, and it made a huge difference in our stay. We also made nightly stops for ice cream at the West Baden shop, where we met Kim and her daughter, who were such a joy. Little moments like that really added to the warmth of the whole experience. Beyond the amazing staff, there was so much to do—horseback riding, games, shops, and even a fun little trolley to shuttle guests between the hotels and local spots. I even had the chance to sneak off to the casino for a bit of fun. The property itself is beautiful, full of charm, and offered incredible value for everything included. I can’t say enough good things about this resort. The people truly made it unforgettable, and we left already talking about when we could come back. Highly recommend the French Lick Resort and especially the West Baden Springs Hotel for families looking for a fun and memorable getaway with top-notch service.
