Never Disappoints-Perfect Getaway for All
We started going to West Baden Springs Hotel over 15 years ago or more. They started a Vintage Baseball World Series Weekend, and we have gone very year. This is the first year my husband didn't play but still didn't want to miss it. West Baden is the perfect place to hold this event with all the history there. Everyone is always so welcoming, friendly and want to make sure you enjoy your visit. We love the idea you can park your car, and they have shuttles and trolleys to take you anywhere you want to go around town. There is plenty to do there or just the perfect place to kick back and relax. Lots of options for dining and you should be sure to stop at either or both hotels for ice cream.

We have been wanting to have a weekend getaway here for a while and finally booked on a few weeks ago. We had high hopes but I am sorry to say it did not live up to our expectations. The hotel is nice but it is like you stepped back in time. Everything is out dated but clean. Pools are small, food was terrible and the bar was infested with flies. We left a day early.

Stay at this iconic hotel!
Stay here for gilded age splendor in what was called the 8th wonder of the world! The entire grounds are classic early 20th century, the staff is so friendly, and the dome is simply breathtaking. The combined French Lick resort is a true resort, with spa, pools, golf, horseback riding, and plenty of grounds to stroll. The rooms are spotless if a bit dated and the food is, well, not the highlight. That being said, kudos to the Cook family for saving this architectural gem for all of us to enjoy!

Our favorite resort getaway.
Lovely area. Hotel resort is stunning. Rooms are large and feel luxurious. Comfy beds and linens. The entire place feels serene from the moment you walk in the door. A soak in the mineral spring bath eases my painful arthritic joints. The food is top notch and the spa/pools both indoor and outdoor are all fantastic. Hubby and I enjoyed strolling through the beautiful gardens by the fountain. The atrium. Oh my goodness it is gorgeous and quiet and serene. The chairs and loungers are luxurious. We have been visiting at least once a year for about 15 years. It never fails to disappoint. We are a short 3 hr drive away. Wish I was there right now.
