Great hotel.
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Room was clean and kept tidy daily. The rooftop pool/ bar was a great addition to the hotel. The staff were all really friendly and approachable. The resort fees are fair for the location that the hotel is situated in. On the other hand the incidentals are high at $150 a night. Monies were given back within three days of checking out. Would I stay again? Yes! Absolutely loved LA.

Great location, Nice staff, Dated rooms, Small pool
The hotel was in a great location on sunset blvd. The staff were nice and friendly and a few of them were eager to assist us with the issues that we had (needing a new room, upgrades, and billing issues). The rooms were dated and had carpet which contributed to the stale smell. The pool area was small but nice besides the pool which was dirty. There was food and clumps of hair floating around from the night before. I didn't even get in the water which was difficult because it was so hot. Overall-my experience and stay was worth the price and I may stay here again.

Fab stay
Fab hotel, great location and very friendly staff. We stayed for 2 nights, check in and check out was very efficient. We had breakfast which was great, food was fab, the only thing we found was at busy times staff were struggling with the amount of customers. However even when busy, they were very helpful and friendly. Overall a great stay at Andaz.

Comfortable and great location for my needs
Location was great, not that far from universal studios and Warner brothers. Flat safe in the neighbourhood. The staff were polite and helpful. Requested a kettle and one was brought not long after. Very clean room. Great view of the city. I would stay there again.

A staycation that we should have stayed away from
I probably would not return to this hotel unless it is updated and the food offerings are better. We had a getaway staycation and this was not special. Finding a roach on our bathroom made us leave our cool-view top floor hardwood flooring room only to be brought to a 5th level carpeted and dated less than stellar view room. It was a depressing switch to be sure. The television casting issues though resolved required multiple phone calls and visits to both rooms. Not what you want when you are just trying to getaway and have a peaceful vacay.
