Highly recommend

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel. Our room was comfortable and it was great to have a usable kitchenette, a hanging rack for wet clothes and a comfortable bathtub for soaking after a long day of hiking. Would suggest rooms not facing the adjacent restaurants if you like to sleep with the windows open. Breakfast was good, not great and one morning the scrambled eggs were too mushy but there are other options.

Perfect Location, great views, great hotel rooms

Wonderful stay, beautiful clean 2 bedroom suite on high floor with a huge balcony with great views, good service, nice breakfast, used the excellent pool and sauna, and TRULY appreciated the use of self service laundry facilities! We didn’t have CAD coins, but the fgront desk was able to provide us coins and simply charged it to our room. Location was perfect, literally in the center of town. Just the perfect stay. Only issue was the smell of marijuana from some of the guests staying onsite. Sometimes had to keep the windows closed, or couldn’t really enjoy the balcony. But that comes with the territory i guess. That said, will definitely stay here every time we come back. Just a wonderful hotel.

Think before you book

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 4 days ago

We booked this room on your website, no where did it say Murphy bed. It looked like we should of had a king size bed, no private balcony, If it did say Murphy bed we would not have booked, especially for the money. We also had a dog barking for hours. The light switches were very confusing, needs labels. We had considered to book a winter stay, not now. We loved the Pan Pacific in Vancouver, we were hoping for the same, We were greatly disappointed.

Huge suite in central Whistler

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We had a 2 bed room family suite on the ‘upper floor’ (5th floor didn’t feel very upper) - that aside the suite was huge with plenty of space for a family, 2 bathrooms, kitchen , balcony etc. The suite was clean, good amenities in the bathrooms, daily room service and chrome cast on every tv (which actually worked as well). Slight negatives were the very noisy aircon and the average view over the front courtyard with a lot of extractor noise from the hotel/car park opposite. The location was great being pretty central to the village with everything walkable (both gondolas included). Breakfast buffet was included which and was ok. Nice lap pool and 2 x hot tubs (one adult only)

Good Family Hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 week ago

We concluded our road trip to BC with a stop in Whistler. We booked a 2 bedroom suite at The Pan Pacific as the room layout offering 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths and a full kitchen is ideal for our family of 5. After having stayed at a smaller hotel in Kelowna , the extra space here was so nice to have. The hotel is well situated with immediate access to all the restaurants and shops. We were able to enjoy some meals out or bring some back to our room to enjoy. The hotels itself was clean and the staff were all helpful and pleasant. There are a couple of things to note: 1) While we appreciated the daily housekeeping (rare for hotels to do these days), we found it to be inconsistent. On the first day, our robes were hung back up and the dishes in the sink were cleared into the dishwasher and a load was started. Our towels were also replaced. On the 2nd day, it seemed only the beds were made. 2) The breakfast buffet seems a bit like an after thought. First, there was not enough tables to sit at. The seating area was divided between two rooms as were the drip coffee and juices were in the other room. The buffet would get backed up where the pastries are because ppl are waiting for their toast but this was the area where the kitchen staff was coming and going. It all seems very poorly laid out. We had 3 breakfasts here and it was the same offering every day. For a 5* hotel, we were expecting more variety and possibly better quality - for example, hot fresh oatmeal and not packaged oatmeal. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience but we had higher expectations especially for the price point. Whistler is magical and we will be back to visit!
