Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre

This was a solid — but not outstanding — option that we chose because we sought a suite for our family. Pros: - very well located, a 5-mins walk to ski gondola - concierge was helpful in making arrangements for ski lessons and dinner reservations - most staff were friendly and accommodating (kudos to max the bellman) - the included breakfast was better than expected and the après was a hit with the kids (hot chocolate and cookies) - room was sufficiently spacious for a family of four - game room was a nice bonus with kids and the pool was lovely Cons: - rooms are really in need of refurbishing. Furniture is quite dated and shows a lot of wear and tear as evidenced in the photos associated with my review. Hallway carpets stained. Also no heater drying rack or even drying line which feel essential at a ski resort - gym was available at the sister property a 3-min walk away yet was tiny and very basic and stands to be modernized - only one working elevator meant lots of waiting So overall not a bad choice but also not a choice I’d necessarily make again

After years visiting other hotels in Whistler such as Fairmont, Westin, and Delta return to Pan Pacific Village. Was disappointed with Elevator being down, mediocre breakfast, non working coffee machine and load heating units. A planned elevator service was just announced the first day of arrival; it was a surprise to take out one elevator during the peak season for a hotel that only has two elevators and no service elevator. The hot tub was rarely maintained and you could feel dirt in the hot tub, also change rooms were dirty. We had an electric car and was surprised to fond inly two charger cables with one being out of service.

We had a great stay in the end. After having a few problems with the room and being admittedly too defensive and grumpy upon complaining, the day manager Pragya was able to get our problems solved and we had a great remainder of our stay. She had such a great demeanour and was able to diffuse the situation with ease and make it right. This place is having some problems with the elevator but our room was so cozy with the fireplace and the view that we hardly noticed because we didn’t come and go that much. They obviously put in the extra effort to make sure the rooms are clean and guests are comfortable. We were surprised at the quality of the sheets and the bed, and the extra cozy throw blankets and pillows. The breakfast was also notably great.

Wonderful time! The hotel staff are so hospitable and helpful. Rooms and amenities great, such a refreshing couple's getaway. Really appreciated the efforts to make the hotel more environmentally sustainable as well, thank you Pan Pacific.

It was absolutely amazing, beautiful 😍 I definitely recommend it! The room was clean, with everything you need, a kitchenette with cutlery and everything! Very affordable
