Ireland is known as the Emerald Isle because of its lush green landscape, but within Ireland, there is a county known as the oegarden of Ireland”. An oases within a paradise, County Wicklow, on the eastern shore, is kept temperate by the gulf stream, and is home to Ireland(TM)s greatest gardens. Call one of these gracious gardens home, if only temporarily, when you stay at Tinakilly Country House and Restaurant. Set at the end of oak-lined avenue, Tinakilly House is enveloped by seven acres of pleasure gardens overlooking the Irish Sea and Broadlough Coastal Lagoon. The stunning sea views, romantic gardens, grand old house and surrounding hinterland of Tinakilly captures the essence of Irish country living to delightful perfection.

The attitude of multiple staff members was rude bordering on hostile, woken up in the middle of the night by a rude man searching for who was setting off a fire alarm The breakfast was the worst hotel breakfast we have had, small portions of cheap quality poorly cooked. Had to ask for coffee five times! Building is beautiful but avoid at all costs

We had our wedding in Tinakilly in August this year and it was the most perfect day. From start to finish everything ran so smoothly and they couldn’t have done anymore for us. From our very first viewing until we checked out we were made to feel completely at ease. There was no pressure and Emma was brilliant and very patient with all of our queries. A special thanks to AB who made us feel so special and at home on the day. It’s such a stunning venue and all of the guests complimented the food and the grounds. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for anything better and I can’t recommend Tinakilly and the wedding team, especially AB and Emma enough. If you’re thinking of booking Tinakilly don’t hesitate you won’t regret it! Thanks again guys.

Everything was good. Tucked away location perfect for exclusivity. Characteristic main house. Banquet is very inviting. Food tasted good and drinks options available at the bar inside the banquet hall. Wedding Package is good too. Wedding reception activities especially outside the garden across the banquet hall was the highlight for me which was during the Couple's 1st Dance. Made the Wedding Reception Night extra special and memorable. Improvement required with one Banquet Manager Staff on Duty ( during the night of the 13th September Wedding Reception ) named Aibhie (think that's his name he gave us) who unfortunately lacked proper Guest Service Etiquette and highly recommend to undergo more Customer training improvement course perhaps. Over-all the Wedding Reception Night was good.

Marvellous period property, run by excellent staff. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the bath shower are luxurious..Food was really nice although the beef was a little tough. .Service was first class at all times .

This, perhaps less known manor house is set in a beautiful, tranquil setting, surrounded by parkland. The house itself is quite grand inside, with different function rooms, restaurant and guestroom upstairs. Lunch in the smaller drawing room was lovely, the fish of the day was very tasty, and the service was good. The gardens are beautifully kept and tranquil.
