Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort

Beautiful hotel with amazing grounds. Room was perfect and very clean. Stunning location and good value for money. Only criticism would be limited choice on bar menu. Breakfast was delicious and view from breakfast room was fabulous.

While the location was pretty, the hotel itself was mediocre downstairs and very poor in terms of rooms and cleanliness. There were make-up stains on my hand towel from a previous client, a very disgusting toilet seat and very poor amenities. The shampoo dispenser didn’t work, the towels were in the shower rather than on the bathroom wall. The walls were very thin. I could hear my neighbour snoring and using the toilet. Generally the service was friendly though not efficient. There was an atrocious sight of over spilling bins every time staff left the breakfast room. The coffee from the machine was not included in the breakfast which was very foolish. The atmosphere was ok, not consistent. Grumpy barman downstairs and grumpy manager in the dining room. Upstairs bar people excellent. Terrible value for money. I would not recommend.

We had a wonderful, comfortable stay. Beautiful room view of golf course, beautiful food. Staff very friendly and helpful. I was there celebrating my birthday which was very enjoyable. We will stay there again.

Lovely location. Lovely 2 bedrooms interconnecting as requested, one room with shower en-suite & the other with bath en-suite & both with tea/coffee facilities. Easy check-in at reception. Lovely friendly hotel staff. Excellent food served in bar/ lounge & restaurant. We ate dinner at lunchtime so we only required a sandwich at 6pm in the lounge, unfortunately the waiter told us sandwich orders stopped at 5pm, so we just had scones with tea & coffees as we couldn't eat another dinner on the same day. We mentioned about the non availability of sandwiches on checkout, the receptionist was surprised & unaware that sandwiches stopped at 5pm and she was going to follow this up. Finally the spa was lovely too, the staff there were very obliging and would give treatments to suit.

Room with a view, of 18th hole. We stayed 2 nites and couldn't praise the hotel or golf course highly enough. We ate dinner in the Fairways restaurant with beautifully balanced menu. Very pleasant and attentive staff ensured we were looked after. Another nite we ate in bar with excellent choice on menu after completing a day's golf on the stunning golf course.
