Beautiful hotel and grounds so well maintained. Golf course was a delight to play - not easy - excellent condition for such a wet month! The highlights for us were the friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, everywhere. From Reception, Bar, golf club and Greenkeepers. The food in restaurant & bar did not disappoint - first class. This was our 2nd trip - 3 hour drive to get here, but well worth it. Thank you.

Beautiful location with really helpful and friendly staff, particularly in the bar. The rooms were lovely, and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a great touch. The main hotel toilets were spotless. Just a few minor issues: when we arrived there were some small stones in the toilet bowl in our room (which flushed away easily). The soap dispenser in the room didn’t work very well and there were no bars of soap provided. At breakfast, several of the larger plates had remnants of food on them. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay and we would definitely return. 😊

Had great two day stay here in early March with good friends. The location is fabulous and although only a 40 minute drive from home we felt like we properly away. All staff from reception, bar, restaurant, housekeeping are lovely. Our room and our friends room was cosy and comfortable and very scenic views. Ate in the bar both evenings and food and service great. The second evening there was a issue with one of the meals not being ordered. Three of got our food but our friend had to wait a while. Staff were very apologetic and situation was rectified quickly and also a reduction made on the bill. The guy that worked in the bar both evenings of our stay, serving drinks and taking food orders was great. He was so friendly and professional at his job and I am sorry I didn't get his name. He has dark hair and a short beard and really nice person. Breakfast was fabulous both mornings. Lovely continental with fruit, cheese. Meat, cereal, yogurt, etc. Order for cooked breakfast taken at table and honestly best breakfast have ever had in hotel. Cooked to perfection. Looking forward to staycation again at Tulfarris.
