Tulfarris Hotel & Golf Resort

Nothing wrong with the golf course/hotel and staff are fine, BUT just the worst pint of Gunness I've ever had to suffer, and I've been on loads of golf trips. Hotels normally manage to serve bad Guinness, which is confusing when you consider the run on it, but this place definitely wins the award for an atrocious pint. I work part time in a bar in Offaly and would be truly ashamed to serve what was put in front of me.

Tulfarris is located in a beautiful part of Wiclow adjacent to the Blessington lakes and close to the Wiclow mountains. Take the Wicklow way to Glendalough and beyond. The hotel is well appointed, very clean and our room ws excellent with a view of the Golf Course. We had a small balcony and in warmer weather this would have been a real bonus. We ate in the Fairways restaurant one night and food was very good. Wine choice was limited but good value by hotel standards. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of cereals, fruit. A continental style offering, but also the usual but good quality fry up. However although there were "beans" and fried potatoes, there were no mushrooms or tomatoes. There was scrambled egg, but fried or poached eggs need to be ordered. There is a vg bar food offering. The bar prices are very reasonable. There are some really nice seating areas on both floors where you can relax and have drinks. There was background music but perhaps a live pianist for a couple of hours would have been a nice touch. We didn't use the spa or play golf but options are available to use both. The biggest plus are the staff. There were plenty of helpful young women and men. They were capable, pleasant and courteous. Nothing was a problem. We really enjoyed our stay. .

I've just had the most wonderful experience at Tulfarris day spa for my birthday, and I honestly can say it was the most superior day spa ever! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The atmosphere was serene and inviting, truly setting the stage for a relaxing experience. We both indulged in facials, and they were nothing short of amazing. The treatments were so luxurious, my skin felt refreshed and radiant afterward, and my husband couldn't stop talking about how rejuvenated he felt. I loved how personalised the experience was—tailored to our skin's specific needs. The staff deserve a special mention—they were absolutely fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and so knowledgeable, they made us feel pampered and cared for throughout the entire experience. The therapists were true professionals, super talented, and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. From the gorgeous fluffy robes and slippers to the scented candles and refreshments (btw my husband is a firefighter, and he gave the spa kudos for using fire-safe candles) I am so grateful for the exceptional service we received. We both left feeling completely relaxed and glowing. We'll definitely be back!

A lovely hotel in a wonderful scenic setting. The restaurent overlooking the golf course was very good with exceptional views. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was very good. Overall a very good place to stay and at a reasonable price.

First trip away as a couple and it didn't disappoint. From the warm and welcoming reception staff who were informative and knowledgeable. Room was superior and beyond comfortable with beautiful scenery from our balcony. The spa was intimate and indulgent. Staff were friendly and professional we felt like we were in our own private spa being catered to from beginning to end. Spa rooms were perfect temperature with beautiful soothing music. Relaxation room was exactly that the best ending to a relaxing body massage. Very clean and comfortable surroundings.
