This is a very comfortable place to stay. We ate well, one night in the restaurant and one in the bistro. Plenty of varied options for breakfast. Only one thing g would have improved the stay - there were no drawers to unpack our clothes into, there was plenty of hanging space but only a couple of small shelves for socks, underwear, sports clothes, t-shirts etc.

This hotel is such a home of peace and tranquillity. The staff were lovely, the room was breath-taking and the bed was sooooo comfortable. The golf club surrounding the hotel provided a lovely vista to look out on and there were lovely paths to take leisurely walks. I give it top marks.

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful part of Wicklow. We got a fantastic rate with Rory's Travel Club which included Breakfast and a 3 course meal with a glass of Prosecco. The food was beautiful and our servers were very friendly and very attentive. We loved the views of the golf course. Our only concern was that the shower in our hotel room was absolutely awful. It ran from scalding hot to freezing cold no matter what way we tried to adjust it. I mentioned this to reception on check-out, and I note that it has been mentioned on other reviews, so my top tip would be to check the shower before you unpack your bags.

We recently stayed here for a short break and overall had a really nice experience. The hotel bar served a delicious 3-course meal though we did find the cocktails quite overpriced (€15 for an Aperol Spritz felt a bit steep, even for a hotel setting). Our room was spacious and comfortable, which we appreciated, but the bathroom let it down a bit. It looked a little grubby, and when I filled the bath (which I had specifically requested), the water had small specs of dirt in it — not what you expect from a 4-star property. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, with a good selection and friendly service. In fact, all of the staff we encountered were warm, helpful, and really made the stay feel welcoming. Overall, a nice hotel with good food and great staff — just a few details short of a 5-star review.
