Beautiful modern welcoming. Food and ambiance are a welcome oasis. Staff is friendly and attentive. Remarkable hotel design !

Rooms, Staff, Reception, Restaurant all very nice and exceptionably welcomin. Wide Range of Food and Drinks available at very decent Prices. The only thing for me is the Bed, the mattress it´s a tad to firm for me. A mattress topper could solve the Problem. Pillow Choices are good, but could be better...also to high and hard...but everyone likes it different and you can´t make everyone happy.

A couple of times I had the opportunity to stay at the Windhoek Country Club and I must say it was a great experience every single time! The Country Club is very beautiful and the golf course is not the only highlight for sure. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was always delicious. In the future there will be some upgrades at the outside area like the Swimmingpool and poolbar. What really impressed me was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff especially at the reception. In particular, Queen, Sylvia, Charlyn, and Gabriel were very welcoming and always happy to answer my questions and always helping me out! They made me feel like an old friend and I felt very welcome. At breakfast, Lisa from the egg station consistently provides excellent service, greeting us with a warm and welcoming smile every morning. Of course all other stuff always acts friendly and helpfulness as well. I would definitely recommend the Windhoek Country Club and will be happy to stay here again. My experience with the hotel staff, rooms and location was excellent. However, the restaurant was a disappointment. Food temperature in their buffet are not monitored and are saceptable to dangerous bacteria. I got very sick. The following night, I thought I would be safe and order off the menu. I ordered chicken noodle soup and a ribeye with mash potatoes. When they brought the soup the broth was dark brown and thick. I question the waiter and he asked me to taste it. It was not only wrong in color but also extremely spicy. I returned it and the waiter asked me to have the soup from the buffet which I refused. After about 30 minutes the waiter returned and said it will be awhile to receive my ribeye. I mentioned that 90% of the people were eating from the buffet. He said he would try to expedite my order. 20 minutes later he returned with my steak. To expedite the process the chef butterflied the steak and overcooked it and the mashed potatoes were like glue. To top it off at breakfast the following morning the pancakes were burnt on the top and bottom and the center was raw and wet pancake batter. Proper training, supervision and management in the restaurant is really necessary.
