The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg

Hotel was great. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Accommodated my request for a factory view room without any problems. The only problem I found with the hotel was that the drain in the bathroom sink wasn’t working. You had to hold it in order for the water to drain properly. This isn’t something i expected from a 5 star establishment. I should have brought this to their attention when I discovered the problem however I didn’t want the hassle of having to change rooms or something like that. I also requested 2 extra pillows and milk for the coffee machine. I was disappointed as it took almost an hour for them to reach my room. But on the other hand the stay was great and they recognised my birthday and my parents anniversary with a cake to celebrate.

The hotel itself has a beautiful, chic style, with spacious and spotless rooms that immediately make you feel at ease. Valet parking was excellent, adding a smooth and convenient touch to our arrival. Breakfast was truly a highlight - not only was there a vast selection, but we. could also order from the menu, making it both indulgent and satisfying. In the evening, the bar offered a cozy atmosphere with live piano music and delicious cocktails, perfect for winding down. On the downside, the swimming pool could have been warmer for a more relaxing experience. Additionally, the dining options left us slightly disappointed. The hotel has two restaurants: Aqua, which requires reservations far in advance, and Terra. While Terra offered good food, we were disappointed not to experience Aqua during our stay. Overall, The Ritz-Carlton Wolfsburg delivers on luxury and atmosphere, with a few small drawbacks that are worth considering when planning your visit.

Google Maps or BMW couldn't navigate there right (tried to guide via Volkswagen factory), but it was quite easy to find although there were not too many signs. Neighbourhood is very nice such as hotel interior. Efficient service. They do have valet parking. Nice, spacious room. Good shower. Good bed. Nice balcony. Good breakfast. Aqua restaurant was fabulous.

The Club Level Lounge and Newman’s Bar stand out as exemplary features, providing guests with memorable experiences. While Terra restaurant offers a commendable farm-to-table approach, it may not captivate all palates. Overall, the hotel presents a compelling option for travelers seeking contemporary luxury in Wolfsburg.

From the first step to the property, the staff were attentive and tried to help in every way. I loved everything about our stay. We especially enjoyed the live music at the bar (we even canceled our restaurant reservation to relax to the live music).
