Outstanding afternoon tea & service
I visited the Grand York for afternoon tea as a group of 7 for our friend's 30th birthday. I was so impressed with the flavours, attention to detail and presentation. Its definitely one of the best afternoon teas I have ever had. Service from all staff was fantastic. A special shout out to Emma who made sure we were well looked after. She is perfect for the hospitality industry. What an asset she is to the team. The parts of the hotel we saw were beautiful. I would definitely recommend and I will definitely be coming back.

I'd definitely stay here again
The location is great, the hotel accommodations are very comfortable and clean and the staff are very helpful. The first night was booked as a corporate booking and I chose to book a second night myself as I wanted time to explore York a little. So glad I did as The Grand was a great location for exploring the city and the friendly staff made me feel very welcome and looked after when I was there on my own.

An exceptional Hotel
The location is 3 minutes walk from York train station. The hotel is a beautiful building. As soon as you enter the hotel you feel relaxed and welcomed.

Fantastic stay, again! Clean, well accommodated, friendly, attentive & welcoming. Special thanks again to Wayne, a concierge, who remembered us as soon as we arrived saying,’Welcome back!’. Wayne is a lovely man and is a credit to The Grand in York. Look out for him and say hi from me!
