A Wonderful Experience at The Grand
Visited The Grand in early July while spending the day in York and decided to stop in for food and drinks. We tried various cocktails, which were delicious, and the food, such as the whitby crab roll, was excellent too. A special thank you to Shauna, who looked after us throughout our visit. She was friendly, attentive and made us feel so welcome. She also recommended some great things to do around York and told us about the hotel's spa and restaurants, which we'll definitely be coming back to try. Her excellent service really made our visit, and we can't wait to return!

Great place and excellent customer service
Very great location & atmosphere. I visited the 1906Bar with my family and was served by Shauna. She was very friendly, welcoming & attentive to our needs. She helped ensure a stress-free and relaxing environment for us. She was also able to get us whatever we asked for. We also saw her working hard at the Rise for breakfast. Great customer service overall! Highly recommend

Great for a city break
Superb location away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but within easy walking distance of the train station / town centre. Suite was spacious, well appointed and quiet. Friendly staff and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Excellent
Excellent hotel and staff. We were very disappointed that the use of the pool comes at an extra cost when it was included when we stayed previously. Expensive breakfast.

Amazing Atmosphere
Ive come here a couple times over the last few days. Special shoutout to Shauna in the 1906Bar who is just absolutely amazing! Always working hard and always friendly. Great atmosphere to get drinks and just chill and relax with family & friends even after a long day out. Especially on Friday and Saturday nights as they have a live singer!!
