The Estate Yountville

Great grounds, poor service. I was treated like a massive inconvenience when I had to switch rooms for a problem with the heater. Unexpected from such a nice hotel.

I did not have a very good experience at Estate Yountville. I was expecting a great experience. What I got was that of a poorly maintained and improperly managed business. My first morning I wake to ants in my bathroom and sleeping area. I contacted the front desk and they profusely apologized and offered to have "engineering " deal with the situation. I was told that they would spray the room for ants. I return this afternoon to find more ants. I decided that I needed to find another place to stay that I don't have to deal with the problem. I asked to be checked out and they insisted on putting me into another room. My confidence is very low and I asked for them to close my room out. At the front desk I deal with the manager. We discuss the problem. I show her videos. Still " let us move you". I'm not convinced because they already had one chance to fix the problem and I am certain nothing (effectively) was done otherwise the ants would not still be alive. I come back to the front to get my bill and the manager is no where to be seen. The new front desk clerk has my tally folded up nicely in an envelope and explains that she is unable to forgo tonight's fees. I responded that I did not expect anything (from my experience earlier). This is touted as a luxury resort. I can vouch that the prices are luxury, the experience may be less than stellar. I would have been happy having them furnish me with a can of bug spray.

Very perfect stay in a very perfect place. We loved everything about this hotel. Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful, elegant property - a hidden gem in Yountville. Rooms are large, bathrooms are beautiful, and property is lovely.

Wonderful stay and excellent property. A visit to the Napa Valley only made more spectacular due to the Villaggio staff and resort.
