Reviews for Napa Valley Lodge

Perfect mother daughter getaway

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

My two daughters and I enjoyed two nights at the lodge. We loved the location . The room was spacious and well appointed. We appreciated the in-room espresso machine. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The grounds were well kept and we enjoyed the pool and the fire pits for relaxing in the afternoons. The staff were very friendly and well trained. We will definitely come back.

Best place to stay in beautiful Yountville!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

The entire staff beginning with the general manager, Max ensured that our stay was excellent. Conveniently located, The Napa Valley Lodge will be our favorite place to stay in the future. It is walking distance to world class restaurants and close to famous vineyards.

Convenient location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 weeks ago

We had a pleasant room overlooking the vineyard, with a glimpse of Highway 29. The room has an updated feel to it: All of the furnishings were in good condition, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom finishes are rather dated, with lots of orange granite that was popular in the 90s, but everything was in good shape. Breakfast was promoted as a continental breakfast, so we were pleasantly surprised to see hot items, including scrambled eggs and DIY waffles. The croissants were flaky, and the fruit was fresh. Our only complaints were beverage-related: The latte was not palatable, and drinkers of black tea might be disappointed to find only flavored teas. The hotel is a very short walk from the center of charming Yountville, where you'll find lots of restaurants and shops.

Pleasant stay, great downtown Yountville location

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We had a great experience at Napa Valley Lodge. The location in downtown Yountville is excellent and we enjoyed walking to our meals at The French Laundry, Ad Hoc, and Bouchon. We came with our 7 year old daughter, who loved the heated pool, hot tub, and bocce ball area, as did we! The breakfast buffet was convenient (though for ~$500/night, we did expect a bit more than a “Fairfield Inn” type breakfast). The hotel recommended a great babysitting agency to us, which was helpful in finding a babysitter during our dinner at The French Laundry. Our room was pleasant and well maintained, though certainly not luxurious. We appreciated our private back patio. Overall, we have no complaints…just keep in mind that you’re paying a huge premium to be in downtown Yountville…so while we paid about $500/night, this would be more like a $250/night stay elsewhere.
