North Block Hotel

From the time we spoke w/ Carter Dobbs back in July when we reserved to our check-out Sunday after T’giving, every interaction was amazing, prompt & delightful! We thoroughly enjoyed our room and the hotel amenities! Breakfast each morning was relaxed and a chill way to start and plan each day! Thanksgiving dinner was phenomenal! We loved our morning bike tour on their complimentary bicycles. The location is extremely convenient with a short stroll to very nice dinner options! This is one of those places that is hard to leave when it’s time to check out! We will return again!

This hotel is the best! The service, amenities, and room appointments are all stellar. We loved the “Melrose Place” look and feel. We felt so comfortable and well taken care of from water to snacks to splashes of bubbles and wine. A sweet breakfast was served daily at their in house restaurant (great fries by the way!). Davis at the front was a star. We’d love to come back again and would not hesitate to recommend this gem to anyone! Everything about it was worth it and more. If you are staying in Napa, book North Block as your home base in charming Yountville.

North Block was 5 out of 5 in every category. Room, amenities and staff. Perfect place to stay and relax while visiting the Napa area.

What an absolute pleasure of a hotel. A definite surprise. We weren't expecting a great deal when we booked as we had heard that if you don't stay at the high end estate facilities than you don't get a good stay. This place was amazing. Once you entered the courtyard, it was like you were in your own little European street. Plenty of outdoor seats, beautiful decor/plants, peaceful, firepit, plenty of wine, and an amazing hotel. Staff was wonderful in all respects. The rooms were quite large, had a fireplace inside and a nice porch to take in the fresh air. Access was easy, right off the main highway. Everything in Yountville is pretty much walking or biking distance from the hotel. Come out and turn to the right and about a three minute bike ride at best or 5 minute walk and you are getting Michelin dinner, Michelin bakery, and plenty of other choices. I would make time for eating at the hotel dinner at least one night as it is on par with the better restaurants in the area. The chef does a great job. We would come back here without question. Very happy with all aspects of it. I believe they are opening another property or have another property and we are hoping to get a chance to go stay at it, as well. They offer bikes to use during the day, definitely do this. The fresh air, biking through Yountville, taking in the sights was amazing. There is also plenty of shopping within 5-10 minutes biking in town. If you come out and turn to the left, cross the street, you will have some excellent crepes. Worth it for breakfast. Otherwise, you can stand in line at the Bouchon Bakery to the right and three minutes away for blown away taste time. We went there for lunch and they have some very good take away food. Also did the friend chicken dinner at Keller's, and that was worth every penny, as well. Just be prepared to eat as there were like to whole chickens on the platter that were fried.
