Lovely Hotel in Yountville - relax after wineries
Wonderful hotel with helpful staff, comfortable rooms, and great seating outside for the California weather. Recommend eating at the hotel restaurant for dinner as well - delicious tasting menu.

Wonderful retreat in Napa!
Great atmosphere, outdoor courtyard with Tuscan-style rooms that approach like villas with a front-porch style seating nook and a balcony/patio in the back. While the room is at its core a hotel room, ours had a walk-in closet and a well-appointed bathroom which felt very intentional. Build in a day during your Napa getaway to slow down and enjoy the property if possible!

North Block delivers
I'm always a little iffy on splurging for a hotel. When you're on vacation, you want to be out and about, after all. But North Block was a splurge that was worth it. From the glass of wine upon arrival (multiple options, we went with Chandon) to the glasses throughout the day, if you care to partake, to the free cocktail at the restaurant and the whiskey tastings in the evening - you are sure to feel like you're getting your money's worth. My wife and I were celebrating two special dates, and we found two lovely bottles of wine waiting for us during our four-night stay. The first was Chandon, the second was a lovely white wine that also came with a basket of snacks. The free breakfast is simple, but much more than a continental breakfast. The location is fantastic for a quiet walk in the morning to watch hot air balloons take off, grab pastries at Bouchon before it gets busy, walk to dinner at Ad Hoc or Bottega (or French Laundry, if you get lucky). Great place. I'm glad we stayed.

We love North Block !!
Everything that we hoped for and more. Beautiful grounds, top notch room in a great location. What sets it apart is the customer service. Everyone we dealt with was wonderful, with a special shout out to Carter. He truly went above and beyond. We are already in the process of booking a return trip.

What impressed me about the hotel was the professionalism and the friendliness of the staff. No matter what you ask for, they are kind and receptive and try to deliver it. That means a lot to me as a guest - to be treated at that level. It began from the minute I walked in the lobby and continued all the way up the line.

This is a fantastic hotel - perfect in every way! The rooms are divine, amenities are great, bathroom is perfect, and the service is extraordinary! One of the best experiences in a very long time - it's great to find a gem like this!

Every detail was 5 star - - from making the reservation to stepping out and immediately being greet with glasses of sparkling wine at check-in, to the tour of our Premium room with our own private patio, California King, and heated bathroom floors, to the personalized note signed by the hotel's proprietor welcoming us to the hotel.
