Amazing yountville stay
Top notch hotel. The location could not be any better. Staff was incredible — very friendly and helpful. The bike rentals on site for no cost was such a great way to explore yountville. Amazing experience overall. Don’t think twice about booking here.

40th birthday trip
Nice property. Pool was chilly, hot tub hot. Room was beautiful with great ambiance with the fireplace. Breakfast service was lacking. Dinner was amazing. Great location within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Parking a little fill when we arrived in the evening due to shared parking with the restaurant.

Pay attention to the cancelation policy
We had an unfortunate experience with North Block and left feeling very unhappy with how the hotel handled it. When we needed to return home early, I tried to cancel the second night of our stay four days in advance. North Block declined to make a courtesy exception to its 14-day cancellation policy. The policy was in my booking confirmation, and I missed it. I take responsibility for that. Even so, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility for a first-time guest facing a change in plans. The $200 adjustment offered barely reduced the cost of the unused night. We checked in at 4 pm and out the next day at 9:30 am and were charged $1700 plus and that includes the adjustment. Carter was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout. I was given the general manager’s email address, asked that she call me, and then emailed her myself. I received no response. I travel often, and this experience left me feeling that enforcing an unusually restrictive policy mattered more to North Block than addressing a guest’s concern. It’s a lovely property, and Carter represented it well, but I would not return.

Highly recommended!!
Right at the entrance of Yountville but there was no noise disturbance. Very cozy little hotel which has only 20 rooms so it was not crowded or overly busy. We met only few couples at a time at the breakfast, front desk for drinks, or sitting at the courtyard. Room was very clean and welcoming atmosphere. It wasn’t bug as I expected but standard hotel rooms size. I liked bathroom. Bathroom was nice, clean and big. The very nice staffs made our stay very exclusive and special. I will like to stay here in the future if we visit Napa.

Perfect Hotel Stay for Our Anniversary
Beautiful hotel with meticulously kept grounds and pool area. Our room was amazing with a private patio and turn down service. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The included breakfast was lovely. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

What impressed me about the hotel was the professionalism and the friendliness of the staff. No matter what you ask for, they are kind and receptive and try to deliver it. That means a lot to me as a guest - to be treated at that level. It began from the minute I walked in the lobby and continued all the way up the line.

Every detail was 5 star - - from making the reservation to stepping out and immediately being greet with glasses of sparkling wine at check-in, to the tour of our Premium room with our own private patio, California King, and heated bathroom floors, to the personalized note signed by the hotel's proprietor welcoming us to the hotel.
