This is a five star hotel!
We have stayed here three times now and we love it here! A small boutique hotel with all the extras - including robes, slippers, turndown service, Nespresso machine in the room, continental breakfast with Bouchon Bakery pastries, wine and champagne every afternoon in the lobby with homemade chocolate chunk cookies - and a very friendly staff. The hotel is walking distance to so many fabulous and renown restaurants that we love staying in Yountville. We will always stay at The North Block when we come to Napa Valley. Relaxing and serene.

Excellent Two Night Stay at North Block Hotel
This is a fabulous boutique hotel in an excellent location. Park your car and enjoy all that Yountville has to offer in tasting rooms and great restaurants. My room was upgraded to a Premium King with a fireplace and balcony... it was immaculate and oh so comfortable. I enjoyed the complimentary wine during the day and the complimentary brandy night cap when I returned to the hotel each night. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. I had dinner at the North Block restaurant on the second night and I was so glad I did. Outstanding meal! There is a beautiful pool and although it was too cool for swimming, the sun was warm and I enjoyed sitting out by the pool for a couple of hours one afternoon. I look forward to returning!

We had the BEST time at North Block! My husband and I were so taken care of by Carter and his staff. Carter was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond with his customer service. We can’t wait to come back!!!

I’m a big fan of North Block and consider it one of the best boutique hotel experiences I’ve had. The property, service, and overall atmosphere are outstanding and easily rival both small luxury hotels and larger high-end chains.

Relaxed Thanksgiving stay
From the time we spoke w/ Carter Dobbs back in July when we reserved to our check-out Sunday after T’giving, every interaction was amazing, prompt & delightful! We thoroughly enjoyed our room and the hotel amenities! Breakfast each morning was relaxed and a chill way to start and plan each day! Thanksgiving dinner was phenomenal! We loved our morning bike tour on their complimentary bicycles. The location is extremely convenient with a short stroll to very nice dinner options! This is one of those places that is hard to leave when it’s time to check out! We will return again!

What impressed me about the hotel was the professionalism and the friendliness of the staff. No matter what you ask for, they are kind and receptive and try to deliver it. That means a lot to me as a guest - to be treated at that level. It began from the minute I walked in the lobby and continued all the way up the line.

Every detail was 5 star - - from making the reservation to stepping out and immediately being greet with glasses of sparkling wine at check-in, to the tour of our Premium room with our own private patio, California King, and heated bathroom floors, to the personalized note signed by the hotel's proprietor welcoming us to the hotel.
