Relaxing extended weekend stay
This was such a cute stay! We came across the North Block hotel while we were looking for places to stay for an extended weekend. The hotel was definitely easy to find, and we loved how there were dedicated parking spaces for guests. Upon arrival, we were not anticipating our room to be ready yet, but the front desk staff (Davis, and sorry we didn't catch the other gentleman's name!) informed us our room was ready, and offered us a welcome drink! The room was lovely, but we absolutely LOVED the bathroom! The heated floors felt amazing, and the double sinks and the large soaking tub just added to the experience. Other amenities include a 24-hour access to the pool and hot tub, a spa, and bicycles to cruise around town. Everything is a short walk away, which was also nice. There was daily breakfast offered, and their onsite restaurant also offered a daily happy hour. This hotel definitely is thoughtful - I had indicated we were celebrating our anniversary, and there was a little card in our room and some treats. Staff are also very kind and accommodating. We would definitely come back for another stay!

A Gorgeous Hotel Where the Staff Truly Shine
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel itself is beautiful—thoughtfully designed, elegant, and incredibly inviting. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a special place to relax and enjoy. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the staff. Every person we interacted with was so welcoming, attentive, and kind. It genuinely felt like they had thought of everything to make guests comfortable and taken care of. Their warmth and professionalism made the stay even more memorable. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the property and the guest experience. We had such a lovely time and would happily return again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay with outstanding service.

Simply the best!
Top notch hospitality, friendliest staff (we need someone like Carter at every hotel!), well appointed comfortable rooms, great location, excellent restaurant on premises - do not even think about staying anywhere else when visiting Napa Valley!

First Trip to Napa
If you're visiting Yountville, this is the perfect place to stay. From the moment we made the reservation, we were met with warmth and welcome. The hotel has a Melrose Place / cozy luxury vibe. Yountville is a walkable town with excellent restaurants, including North Block's own restaurant where we enjoyed a memorable and delicious meal.

What impressed me about the hotel was the professionalism and the friendliness of the staff. No matter what you ask for, they are kind and receptive and try to deliver it. That means a lot to me as a guest - to be treated at that level. It began from the minute I walked in the lobby and continued all the way up the line.

Every detail was 5 star - - from making the reservation to stepping out and immediately being greet with glasses of sparkling wine at check-in, to the tour of our Premium room with our own private patio, California King, and heated bathroom floors, to the personalized note signed by the hotel's proprietor welcoming us to the hotel.
