Sea Cliff Resort and Spa Zanzibar

We had an amazing stay at this resort during our December break in Zanzibar. The resort offers the perfect balance between fun and relaxation, with plenty of activities available while still being an ideal place to unwind. All the staff were extremely friendly, consistently polite, and always ready to help. A special mention goes to Steve, who was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and easy to talk to—he truly made our stay extra special. I had such a relaxing and enjoyable time, and the New Year’s celebration was especially pleasant, with wonderful performances that added to the festive atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a combination of fun, relaxation, and warm hospitality.

I stayed with my family at sea cliff from 20th Dec to 31st and we fully loved our experience...Many huge thanks to the front office manager Steve.. Who made our stay memorable..we were a big family of nine New to zanzibar and sea cliff and with Daily checkups we never felt out of place.. Steve made sure we experienced seacliff to the maximum... I mean I learned how to ride a bike for the first time because of him..made recommendations and Sea cliff became home for us because of Steve.. Huge Thank you to the patient guy at the bike stands.cant remember his name but am sure he remembers the girl who struggled to find balance with the bike.. Lol. Huge shout out to the restaurant staff fr their patience, kindness and sweetness.. Mick Dad, Frank, Adam.. Special thanks to Chef Hassan who made sure my bacon was extra crispy..and helped me get the most out of the buffet daily .. It's the little things really.. Thank you ..also chef swalehe..Made my ice cream exactly how I wanted it am so grateful.. Special thank you to Amidu Ask B security fr your kindness.. Ali and John from reception. Thank you. My housekeeping family... Abdullah and Angel.. You were too sweet and welcoming.. My family and I enjoyed our stay and our rooms were ever as we needed them to be we were and still are so happy.. I was a bit surprised that the hotel lacked sanitary bags..such an important thing I really hope by the time we go back that will have changed. Also there were few options in the buffet selection...too little please work on the food. The infity pool was amazing ever warm loved my time at the jetty and golf course. ... To the gentle souls mentioned, you are the reason our family of 9 wants to come back.. See you soon.

The room service was excellent,the golf course was very ok and the services on the golf course we're ok..dinner should atleast have more varieties and accommodate the African culture.got good services from waiter micdadi,waiter nossi,Steve was excellent in our correspondence.

The atmosphere and location was very impressive The surrounding were nice to walk in Rooms were clean Staff were nice and cooperative A lot was offered during our stay

I never write reviews but this time, I was beyond exceptionally pleased that I feel I just had to! We were there as a group of 13 people ages ranging from 5 to 75 and I can honestly say that in the 10 days we were there, there was not a single moment for any of us to feel bored! The activities that the hotel provides are beyond imaginable! There is something for every age range which is very rare to find! Some of these include Golf, mini golf, horse riding, squash, pickleball, tennis, water sports and the list goes on and on! The service was beyond expectation! The staff whether it be restaurant staff, activity staff or housekeeping would go above and beyond to make sure every single guess was looked after! The food in the buffet wasn’t once repeated! They made an amazing effort to change the cuisine every night and the entertainment matched! Never been so content or put on so much weight in such a short space of time! The location of the property is amazing! Even though it’s not on the main beach strip, I think this was the most ideal situation. We visited nungwi which wasn’t too far away but I was so glad we didn’t stay there. It was busy and full of tourists so it was great to visit for the day but we were really glad to go back to the hotel where we had peace and quiet and felt really safe and looked after! There are separate pools for kids and adults so the pools never felt crowded and with so much space in the hotel, even though the hotel was full, you never felt like there were too many people around! All in all, would definitely recommend especially for families like ourselves!
