Sea Cliff Resort and Spa Zanzibar

One of the best price-quality ration on Island. If you want a resort where all family members can find an activity this is the right place! All the activities are for free including shuttle bus to Spice Farm and Stone Town excluding golf and horse riding. If you are considering a beach holiday, the place around the hotel is not that good for swimming because of mangroves forests, but perfect spot for water activities. The team of the hotel is so much helpful! The hospitality level is one of the best in the island! If you have any complaints be sure the hotel Team will solve it immediately and sometimes at their own cost! Special appreciations for Rahul and Abbas for making the level of the comfort here even higher!

It was a wonderful experience for us. The hotel and rooms were very clean, the staff were very friendly and all very polite.The hotel's surroundings and nature are very beautiful. I would definitely recommend it for families with children and couples. There are many activities for children and for us; you can check the hotel's website.There were shows every evening. Insecticide is sprayed in the rooms every evening to prevent mosquitoes.Mosquito nets are available in the rooms.The breakfast and meals were very tasty and the fruit was excellent. He visited all the tables every morning and evening, taking care of everyone Mr ABBAS not only managed his department excellently, but also showed great dedication to hospitality. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sea Cliff Resort & Spa. From the very first moment, I felt welcomed and genuinely cared for. The entire team is incredibly kind, attentive, and highly professional. During my stay, I unfortunately experienced some stomach issues, and I was deeply touched by how supportive and concerned everyone was. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. A special thank you to Jovina and Aidani at the bar, who were always so warm and attentive, and to the Egyptian waiter at the restaurant, who showed exceptional kindness and professionalism. Their care truly made a difference during a difficult moment for me. It’s rare to find a place where hospitality feels this sincere. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sea Cliff from start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The property itself is stunning: beautifully maintained, peaceful, and truly the perfect setting to relax and switch off. The food was consistently amazing, with great variety and quality throughout our stay. What really made the experience unforgettable was the incredible team. The staff were super friendly, fun and really attentive. Too many to name everyone but a special thank you to Doreen, Witness, Jovina, Aidani, Ashley and Safi, who made our stay extra special with their kindness and attention to detail (and the lovely cocktails and the fun mini golf!). We are also very grateful to Abou, Laurent, and Abbas, who truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Our room was beautiful with a fantastic sea view, and the housekeeper Anastaszia was amazing and ensured everything was always perfectly looked after. Their hospitality made all the difference and turned a great holiday into a truly memorable one. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a beautiful, fun and welcoming place to stay.

This is an excellent resort by the standards of Zanzibar, but not necessarily 5 stars anywhere else. Our original 'superior' room was a little dark and tired and the outdoor sitting area felt a bit exposed. We paid to upgrade to a 'deluxe' room which was very much better, although, despite assurances that it had been fixed, we never had more than tepid water in the showers. The entire team, both housekeeping and food and beverage, were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. Special mention for the housekeeper in the block with room 524 (sorry I don't know her name), who left lovely floral messages every day, and Ibrahim at the poolside who was always cheerful, attentive and entertaining. The buffet meals at breakfast and dinner were plentiful and tasty with a good variety of choices each day, but drinks were a bit pricey. The entertainment in the evening varied in quality but some were excellent (particularly the acrobatics team!). Activities such as Aqua Fit were advertised for every day but only happened once and, even then, was interrupted by technical difficulties. We booked a snorkeling trip out to a distant sandbank. This was excellent (with amazing food considering it was all done on a tiny cast iron barbecue!) although I felt it was a bit expensive at $250. The horse riding and spa were excellent.
