Nice hotel you can feel while your check in. Nice restaurant and warm heart reception and hotel clerks . Room maintenance in good conditions, even help to tidy my clothes throwing every where by myself. Overalls, I’m happy with my experiences at this hotel.

I’m thrilled to have stayed here. Impeccable service from arrival to departure which made my 4 night stay in Zermatt the most joyous trip. Extremely comfortable and clean with superbly attentive and friendly staff. I will forever think about the delicious breakfasts. Give the horse a loving pat from me.

Enchanting time at the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof

Incredibly beautiful fully restored hotel that was built in the early 1900’s when British well heeled travelers discovered Zermat. We arrived on the opening day of the summer season and were treated to a delightful experience. We had told them that were on a 40 th anniversary trip. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite. Unfortunately the hot water didn’t work. They moved us that evening. To another lovely room overlooking the town and with a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. The staff here is well above par. Many are students working for the summer season from other countries. They were all incredible. From the gentleman that got us at the train station to the front desk to the dining room to the front terrace bar. We taught Olexander at the front terrace bar (Luisi)which was appointed with beautiful white furniture how to make an American “Dirty” martini. The breakfast was served in their Michelin starred dining room with a soaring conservatory ceiling and belle epoch crystal chandeliers. Everything imaginable is served on the buffet or ala carte. Our first morning we were greeted with a celebratory glass of champagne by Katrina who hails from Slovakia. We can’t say enough about this lovely experience!
