Our stay at Six Senses Zighy Bay was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience — the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left. From the moment you arrive, you feel as though you’ve discovered a hidden world tucked between dramatic mountains and the sea. The resort’s quaintness is part of its magic. It never feels overwhelming or commercial — instead, it feels intimate, soulful, and deeply personal. Each villa seems as if it were handcrafted by a group of local artisans, with thoughtful textures, natural materials, and design details that celebrate Omani heritage. There is an authenticity here that is rare and beautiful. You genuinely feel like you are on the edge of the earth — completely able to check out from the outside world and simply exist in the moment. The attention to detail is exquisite. A must-do experience is paragliding with Itso — soaring over the bay and descending toward the resort is exhilarating and breathtaking beyond words. It perfectly captures the spirit of adventure and beauty that defines Zighy Bay. What truly elevates this property, however, is its people. Taha, our GEM host, was incredible. Attentive, thoughtful, and endlessly helpful, he anticipated our needs before we even voiced them. We truly feel like we made a friend and hope to see him one day at his home resort, Six Senses Kaplankaya. Stephanie at Zingy Bar makes you feel like you are part of the Six Senses family from the very first interaction. She is always smiling, laughing, and radiating warmth — the kind of presence that instantly lifts your spirit. Chakra, our server at dinner and sometimes breakfast, was beyond friendly and attentive. His genuine kindness and professionalism made every meal even more special. We cannot say enough about the friendly staff and the unbelievably beautiful setting. There is a dreamlike quality to Zighy Bay — as if you’ve stepped into a place that shouldn’t quite exist. And when it’s time to leave, you find yourself wishing the dream would never end. Six Senses Zighy Bay is not just a resort. It is an experience, a feeling, a memory etched into your heart forever.

We came to the Six Senses hotel for the first time. Starting from the very warm traditional welcome and to saying goodbye , we felt like we were th emits exclusive guests. I had my birthday celebration at the hotel. The team, headed by managers and our own amazing banker Taha, did everything possible to make it the most private, delicious and happy evening . The villas are very comfortable and all details are accounted for. Spa was amazing with very experienced Ayurvedic masters and yoga practitioners we felt the bliss. They even organised a singing bowls session for the family and kids . The beach and pool are also very clean and comfortable. Dinners are very diverse and amazing. Thank you for the whole team.

Fantastic, friendly staff and lots of them. Wonderful hotel in an awe inspiring setting but only 2 hours by car from Dubai. Lovely laid back atmosphere, no bling but very luxurious. Fabulous very large villas with everything you need. Only drawback is cost !!

From the very first day, our stay at Six Senses Zighy Bay was absolutely amazing. This beautiful five-star resort is located in a quiet, secluded area, surrounded by nature, offering complete privacy and tranquility. The resort consists entirely of private villas, which makes it feel exclusive and peaceful from the moment you arrive. Each villa is extremely well equipped, with a lovely bathroom, a very comfortable bed, and a spacious terrace featuring a private swimming pool. While it is a five-star resort, it never feels over the top or flashy. Instead, the luxury is subtle, you feel it in the details, the materials, the service, and the overall quality. One of the things we loved most is the relaxed atmosphere. This is a place where you can walk around and dine in your flip-flops, without needing to be overly chic, yet still feel surrounded by true luxury at every moment. That balance between comfort and refinement is something Six Senses does exceptionally well. The food was outstanding. Breakfast, in particular, was a highlight, with an impressive variety of high-quality options every morning. There are several restaurants to choose from, all offering excellent cuisine. While dining can be on the pricey side, definitely if you’re not super hungry, this is to be expected at a resort of this level, and the quality fully lives up to it. As my girlfriend was pregnant they always accommodated perfectly. One of the most unforgettable moments of our stay was the Dhahab cruise, a traditional luxury dhow experience. It was during this cruise that I proposed to my then girlfriend, who happily said yes, making the experience incredibly special and something we will cherish forever. We would especially like to thank our Guest Experience Manager, Taha, who was always attentive and ready to help with anything we needed. At the same time, every single person we encountered at the resort was exceptional — genuinely friendly, professional, and warm. The level of hospitality across the entire team truly stood out. Sustainability is clearly at the heart of Six Senses Zighy Bay, and it is wonderful to stay at a resort where luxury and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. This conscious approach only adds to the authenticity and beauty of the experience. For us as a couple, this was the best hotel experience we have ever had, and we cannot wait to return one day, hopefully very soon.
