It really doesn't get much better than this. We stayed in Suite #1 for four nights and everything was absolutely top notch. Service was attentive, fast, friendly, and consistent. Food was pricey for the area (250-350MXN per dish for lunch, 1000-1500MXN per head for dinner), but portions were large and quality was absolutely top notch. Same story for drinks. Expensive, but they made us whatever we asked for and nothing was watered down or too sweet. Room was spectacular. Huge private pool, loungers, day bed, hammock, unbeatable view, etc. Special thank you to Viviana who took care of us during the mornings and early afternoons. Couple very small tweaks that would have elevated the experience even more: - Provide a pillow menu - Cordless phone or better yet - Whatsapp chat to room service to make ordering drinks from the pool area in the room easier. - 1-2 Asian-inspired dishes on the lunch menu would have gone a long way towards mixing up our dining. Overall slightly more expensive but way higher quality than we expected. We will absolutely be back!

We have returned to Amuleto multiple times because it never disappoints. It’s a perfectly designed paradise, with a spectacular view, beautiful suites, wonderful food, and a delightful welcoming staff. They always say they want Amuleto “to feel like home”—- and it does. Rarely do we experience a hotel without some small fault, but we can’t find a single one at Amuleto. Five stars plus!!!!

I am dutifully performing my post departure homework (thank you Bibiana) and merely reinforcing what my predecessors have written about this hideaway retreat, which has no pretensions or ego. It is what is...Night & Day. During our 6 day stay we only left the compound once to go a few blocks away. Why leave the beauty, calm and transparency? The staff is most warm, welcoming and real...and the owners make a real effort to make you feel part of the family in this intimate environment. In the event you and a loved one are seeking to getaway and do NOTHING, I guarantee you, by night or by day, that Amuleto will not disappoint.

Wow! And double wow...beautiful. Elegant. Charming. Close to perfection. The room with our own deck, rain shower and pool was wonderful- seeing the sun rise with a gorgeous pink sky over the bay is breathtaking. The service is so spot on - call/ask and you will get. The food is the best too/ wonderful homemade breads and fruit and rich coffee..delivered to our suite for breakfast. Keith gave us a warm welcome and several guests told us they consider it their "home!" I suspect we will- and you will too!!

What a wonderful place. The room we stayed in had a dip pool in which you could see the entire bay. (I believe all of the rooms have dip pools.) It also had a main infinity pool where we were served drinks and looked over the bay and the city. The restaurant had a great lunch menu and dinner menu. Breakfast was served in your room and consisted of breads, fruit, and oatmeal that was not only fresh and tasty but filled us both up. The people working there were absolutely the greatest. They all treated us like royalty. Antonio and Vivian (sp) were the main people that we dealt with and I cannot say enough good about them. It is a bit pricey but if you are looking for a few days of being pampered and just taking it easy in a beautiful setting, this is the place to go!
