Best hotel in Zihuatanejo
Absolutely the best hotel in Zihuatanejo, best location, service, food and facilities. Rooms are ample and comfortable absolutely impeccable, Food is farm to table everything fresh and delicious. La ropa beach is perfect for swimming and water sports. Employees are attentive and professional. After first stay at Thompson about 5 years ago this is the place we keep coming back when in Zihuatanejo.

Awesome Birthday Celebration!!!
Love this place- this Is our 2nd time at the Thompson. Its unique amongst itself and the level of personal attention is great!! Coming back a second time we saw some familiar faces and new but all were more than welcoming. Very friendly staff all across the board. The food is amazing breakfast, lunch, dinner we ate at Hao of of the onsite restaurants daily as well as drinks on the beach! Location is prime you are less than 5 min cab ride from the malecon and "downtown". Super clean rooms, common areas, even the beach. Luckily we stay on the adult side so there weren't any kids and it was the best! Being able to walk out of your room right onto the beach is priceless! Defintely a place to visit again and again.

Extremely Relaxing and Fun Experience
The atmosphere was phenomenal and the staff was extremely polite and professional. The hotel was very clean throughout.

Beautiful gem in Zihau!
We loved this quiet resort with large rooms, excellent food and cocktails, beautiful swimmable beach, but the service was top notch. Juan and Eddy were THE best!!

Gorgeous!
Gorgeous hotel and perfect location on plays ropa. No need to get up early to secure beach chairs.They will always find some for you and plenty available. Excellent food. Beautiful pools. Quiet and relaxing with far fewer kids than other resorts. Swim up room was a nice amenity. Housekeeping top notch.
