The Thompson was a great trip for my wife and I. We went for her birthday and our anniversary. The hotel design is extremely modern. All of the facilities were clean and well maintained. The food at Hao was delicious and the customer service was great. Hilberto was amazing. The moment my wife and I met him we could sense the professionalism and care he takes within his position. He educated us on the area, amenities and entertainment and took care of us our entire trip. I couldn't ask for better assistance from him. Stephanie the manager at Hao was also very sweet and went the extra mile to make our stay special. I am very happy with my overall experience.

Refined yet unpretentious mid-size resort in a beautiful setting right on the beach. Never feels crowded. Excellent service on the beach and everywhere else. Fantastic breakfasts. So many couples visit year after year and it's easy to see why. Returning guests are greeted by name and hugged by long-time staff. Beach Suite 10 is INCREDIBLE!

A most beautiful place where you are going to slip into a beachside lounger with a cocktail. The staff is friendly and will help make your stay comfortable and peaceful. The rooms are stunning and well cleaned by the staff. They are always willing to give you extra of the things you need, and are friendly and prompt. Will be staying here again in the future!

Wonderful hotel. Excellently designed, not too big. The adults pool was on the smaller side but you truly don’t need anything bigger. Beach beds were plenty and comfy. Tables by the beds were awesome. Room was chic and spacious. Super nice beach. Restaurant service was slowwwwww that’s the only drawback but food was good. Go visit Tentaciones restaurant and La Casa que Canta. We stayed here and at La Casa que Canta. The mix was good. Thompson has the beach and is more fun. LCqC is more chill and relaxing. Food is better at LCqC but not by much, but it’s definitely faster there. Ladies, bring some cash - such good finds at the beach incl silver jewelry and beach bags! Great managers. We had basic room and would do it again. They offered an upgrade but we were too comfortable in the basic one.

Amazing hotel. This is the second time we've gone, and it was just as good as the first. The staff make this hotel - from the folks at the front desk, to the folks at Hao, and of course the beach service. My wife got a massage that she absolutely loved (and was talking about even today, the day after we got home). We also took a really great cooking class. We'll definitely go again - honestly, considering if we can get another trip in in the fall. Definitely go, and enjoy this amazing hotel.
