Best Mexico destination, the entire team at Hao Besch and beach service was excellent. The Executive Chef is so talented and food quality is very high. Beach service was phenomenal and massage at the spa was one of the best I’ve had. I can’t say enough good things about this property. The entire stag exceeded our expectations!

We have just returned from another wonderful visit to the Thompson Zihuatanejo. The grounds continue to be well kept and beautiful. The rooms are lovely and kept very clean by the housekeeping staff. The hotel is not in "el Centro," so the noise level is low. The staff at the hotel is what makes this so special. A shout out to Alejandro and Efren who set up our palapa for us each morning; the bartenders Antonio and Saul; servers in Hao Hiliberto, Antolyn and Ellie; and to Erriberto the best beach server in the world. Thank you to all for making our vacation special.

Love this place! This was my second time returning here with my husband, this time with our 1 year old and my mother and father in law. Overall this is an amazing resort with some minor drawbacks, but I will definitely return! Pros: -the staff are incredible and 2 years later many of the same faces remain which is so nice. I cannot fault anyone but want to highlight Juan and Marcos at the bar! The beach service is amazing and everyone is always very cheerful -breakfast options are great and creative, and the food overall is good. There is something for everyone -the design and layout of the rooms is stunning Cons: - we felt the rooms and overall resort needed a little bit of TLC. Examples include older showers and blinds in the rooms, bathrooms throughout the resort ie. At the pool and at Hao are just ok and could use some maintenance and easy fixes to make them much nicer. -the bar is quite small and at busy times could be better staffed (no fault at all to the staff)

We had the best stay at Thompson Zihuatanejo. The location really can’t be beat! The food at Hao was delicious! Taco night with the live music was a highlight. Such a fun atmosphere. Our days fell into the perfect rhythm: breakfast in the morning, grabbing a breezy spot on the beach, lunch right there by the water, then relaxing at the pool, nothing beats the sunset here! We also played tennis, took out the kayaks, and did parasailing! What truly made the stay though was the staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taken care of—it never felt forced, just genuinely kind and thoughtful. Already wishing we were back. Would absolutely stay here again.
