I have been at this hotel several times and I love it here. It may not be the most beautiful, nor luxuruious hotel I have ever been in, but it's gorgeous, lush and the staff is welcoming and very helpful. It's old fashioned but in a good way, not frumpy at all. The location is great, within walking distance from central station if you were sensible shoes, a few trams that stop nearby and I'm sure that the hotel's staff can arrange a pick up which would be a 2 or 3 minute drive. It's located in the city center but still quiet. The staff will try their best to make it a great stay. I had ordered room service and if you love Thai food like me, try their interpretation of Tom Kha Kai, it's delicuous. I'm looking forward to going back there.

HdI has an excellent location: close to the Mauritshuis and other sights and in a very picturesque neighbourhood. Built in 1881, it retains it's high late-Victorian style, which some may like but we found gloomy and depressing. Our de luxe room was big and spacious but sparsely decorated and facilities (bathroom, tea/coffee, minibar but nothing in it) we're definitely on the basic side. Service was good, but if it had been as good as the staff seemed to think it would have been excellent. Breakfast between 7am-10am doesn't fit well with our idea of a 5* hotel. All day Breakfast would be better

Very clean rooms, wonderful staff members and very good services! The ratio quality/price is very good! The location is right in the middle of Den Haag! We felt a little spoiled, with the inside architecture and the fantastic atmosphere we felt like members at a court!
