Hotel Des Indes

Beautiful experience in a hotel with a lot of old-fashioned and well-maintained details. But beside the building the real compliments are for the hospitality of the people who work there. Thanx for the great and warm experience!

We have been staying at this hotel about 6-7 times a year, every year for the past 28 years. Our first stay was 28 years ago when we celebrated our wedding at this hotel in the centre of Den Haag. Since then, we have moved abroad but feel this hotel is our home away from home. Our kids grew up visiting this hotel and whilst they are living their own lives these days, they also look forward to every stay. This hotel is special for more than one reason: besides the location in the centre of Den Haag, the quality of the hotel, the restaurant - it’s the staff that make this place exceptional. From the doormen to the concierge, from the waiters to the turn down service, and very important, the General Manager who brings the hotel to new and even higher levels since she arrived 5 years ago, the customer service here is truly outstanding. I won’t mention names because then I should mention all individuals for their special, private and quality approach to every visitor, not just their regular clients. The staff are incredible, informed, relaxed and welcoming and give you the impression that you’re visiting as a VIP. The room (I always stay in the same room) is extremely comfortable, sumptuous and delights with a wonderful bed, the decoration and wallpaper makes it very extraordinary. Location wise, it cannot be better to explore Den Haag or even Delft. The Central train station is nearby, and so are a few convenient bus/tram stops that will bring you directly to Scheveningen. Coming back to the hotel after a day trip, you should enjoy the lounge area and the bar for a high tea or drink. I highly recommend the Afternoon Tea experience at Des Indes - this will be one of your best high tea experiences outside of London. Having travelled all over the globe and stayed in 5 star hotels in the US, Asia, London and Switzerland, I know that I can come back to the same 5 star experience at Hotel Des Indes.

The hotel is very nice renovated but the old colonial style is still maintained.The staff is very friendly and the rooms are very quiet and comfortable . The hotel is in the centre of the Hague with restaurants and shopping near by.

Had an amazing high tea, wauw! The rooms were beautiful and the service was amazing! Super location! Will be back soon!!!

Amazing stay and stunning Hotel! Highly recommended!! The hotel is located in the best area of The Hague, where you can find museums and shops! I loved it.
