Beautiful hotel
Stunning hotel in a great location in Zurich. A short walk from everything: restaurants, the lake, the shops on Bahnhofstrasse and even the FIFA museum. Room was incredibly spacious and the staff are wonderful. A special thanks to Aris who went above and beyond with his professionalism, kindness and attentiveness. He is an absolute asset to this wonderful hotel, can’t wait to stay again. Thank you, team!

One of the better hotels we’ve stayed in…
My wife and I have been traveling through Switzerland during this heat wave. We picked the Hotel Alden because of its air conditioning and it didn’t disappoint. The air con worked great even though it was 90-94 F every day we were in Zurich. Couple that with a great staff who were friendly, courteous and helpful every time we had a question and the most comfortable beds ever, it was a a winning combination. Also, near a park, public transport, and the Lake so that was an added bonus. Look no further…stay here!

Not the worst, but not a 5-star hotel
Did not feel like a full-service hotel, let alone a 5-star hotel. This isn't to say it's a bad property but should probably be advertised as a serviced apartment or "apart-hotel" without kitchens or laundry facilities. The service varies but the woman who checked me in was nice, some staff were less pleasant. One porter (Josef) was very rude and told me to go to a pharmacy at 8pm when in fact it closed at 5.30. In room dining was terrible and very overpriced. The rooms were huge but I didn't like them as some of the buttons, locks and other amenities were hard to use and the room felt worn. Location wise it was good. I saw very few guests and was thankful of its quietness. The hotel didn't have much amenities but the prices were reasonable

Good experience.
It's a small boutique hotel. We weren't aware of that when we booked, but absolutely top-notch service. Nothing to complain, would highly recommend.
