My preferred hotel in Zurich. Perfect location, outstanding service, and a beautiful property with a long history as the city’s leading hotel. I fully enjoyed my short stay at Baur au Lac and will certainly return. The team is truly passionate and attentive, and the way they interact with guests makes you feel genuinely at home. It is also clear that the property is continuously investing in improvements. everything feels very fresh and new things are introduced frequently. Thanks to the entire team for a magical stay.

My first stay and it was fantastic. I had an upgrade, a very nice corner room, thank you 😊 I would like to mention the front office one man, who made the check in and spoke with me in Russian, I am sorry I did not see his name. He was very kind and professional 🙏 The in room dining girl Liya was fantastic , so lieb 🤗 Breakfast delicious! I love the special letter in my room and the pralines , thank you very much 🫶

Marvelous stay
I had best time in Bauer Au Lac, I choose it because of it’s reputation but they excited my expectations. I had such lovely time all hotel staff made me feel special in every corner of the hotel. Absolutely recommend it 🍀

Great hotel except for the lobby bar
Wonderful hotel but sadly with one short fall. Service at the reception (especially Vanessa), the concierge desk and the breakfast room are exceptional. We had a beautiful room and everything we ate and drank was wonderful. Sadly the lobby bar does not really keep up with the rest. Firstly it is important to know that you really need to book a place there a day in advance. If you do get a table do not expect prompt or even friendly service. At least we did not get that. My order of a cup of coffee took almost half an hour, the bill took even longer and both were delivered with attitude. The next morning it was the same moody attitude from different staff. Maybe it is best to grab a coffee somewhere else and enjoy everything else the hotel has to offer, because all the rest is great. We will come back but will give the lobby bar a miss.
