Park Hyatt Zurich

We stayed at the Park Hyatt Zurich in connection with an AMAWaterways pre-cruise tour. It was a wonderful choice by AMAWaterways. We have stayed in several very nice hotels over the years. None have been better than Park Hyatt Zurich. Everything about the hotel was fantastic. The shower set up took some getting used to - it is essentially not enclosed - but it was fine. The room was a good size, had all the standard amenities, was well decorated and very comfortable. The hotel is also well located with many restaurants and other sites within walking distance. On the day of our arrival, because we were tired from the flight, we decided to “just” have dinner at the hotel restaurant - Parkhuus. On a scale of 1 to 10, it was a 15. Certainly, not cheap but a truly spectacular meal. The service was impeccable and the food - including amuse-buche items between courses - was wonderful. Perfectly prepared and delicious. I cannot recommend both the hotel and Parkhuus highly enough.

It's a great hotel located in central district of Zurich. It's walking distance to everywhere around the river bank and you won't need to use Uber or Tram if you choose to stay here.

I stayed at the Park Hyatt Zürich for one night for my birthday. I am a Globalist and notified the hotel about my special occasion before arriving. I had also applied a suite upgrade certificate to make the stay even more special. The hotel staff made it far better than I could have hoped for. We were upgraded to the presidential suite and it was decorated for my birthday complete with a cake. I also received a cake and welcome drink at the lounge on arrival and more birthday wishes and gifts at breakfast the next morning. Truly impressive hospitality. I would go back in a heartbeat even if it wasn’t a special occasion.

Excellent service from the staff. We dined at the restaurant one evening and the service and food was excellent. Casual and comfortable after a long day of touring. Walking distance from the airport and train station was extremely convenient!!

We liked this hotel it was an essentially located area. It had a grand lobby. The room was very spacious and had a large bathroom. we were only here for one night so we didn’t get to explore much of the amenities that the hotel had to offer. As we arrive late from Geneva, I felt that the hotel was missing. It’s charm that some hotels in Switzerland had to offer. It felt like a very corporate hotel that didn’t represent Switzerland. I would recommend this hotel but if you’re looking for something that is charming full this isn’t the place for you.
