Rhett House Inn

This is a true gem. Start the day with lovely, excellent breakfast by renowned Beverly. The day only gets better. All the staff is extremely responsive and attentive to the guest needs. A special shout out also to Robin who is always very helpful and welcoming. Afternoon tea time is great for making new friends. Then evening desserts. Super. An important note, beautiful historic structures do require attention. Preservation may be somewhat inconvenient to some but extremely important. Accolades to the owner for acknowledging the need for preservation

All staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast, afternoon tea and cookies, cheese and crackers.

Excellent accommodations and location

This was exactly the experience I was looking for, while not knowing exactly what I was looking for. The history, southern vernacular, staff, and food were all just lovely! The homecooked breakfasts were the perfect start to each day. Chef Beverly and her staff were very friendly and accommodating. I traveled with my small dog who was very much welcomed by all. The location was ideal. I spent my days either strolling around town or happily working in my charming room. Each evening, just when I was feeling a bit peckish and in need for an intermission, I would head over to the common sitting room where a lovely cheese plate with fruit, nuts and cured meats would be available for guests to nibble. I really enjoyed the welcoming homey feel overall. I hope to visit again when the beautify garden is in full bloom!

Currently some areas of the main house under contruction but did not interfere with our overnight stay. Room was very clean. Our bed and pillows were comfy and had a good night sleep. Only issues with the room- poor lighting in room and bathroom to apply make-up and very tight bathroom. Enjoyed the afternnon delicious cookies and tea, early evening cheese sausage snacks, evening desserts ( 4 options) and breakfast was wonderful. Beverly great job and loved your homemade biscuits. We would return again.
