Wonderful stay
We stayed Nov 20th. Great experience. Stayed in room 10. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Hats off to housekeeping. Chef Beverly is the bomb. Best French toast I ever had. Staff was super friendly and full of information. We will definitely return.

We found that the employees at the Rhett House Inn are incredibly gracious. My family made a huge mistake reserving rooms for the wrong date. We did this through a 3rd party site. When we arrived the Rhett House was full. They helped us find another hotel. Thanks to Aimee we kept our original reservation and can’t wait to return. Lee and Elizabeth Richards

Charming Historic Gem in the Heart of Beaufort
The Rhett House is a charming historic inn located in the heart of Beaufort. We had a peaceful and relaxing stay — the staff was incredibly hospitable, and the homemade breakfasts were absolutely to die for. A true Southern gem that captures the warmth and elegance of the Lowcountry.

An amazing place to visit!
Amazing place! We were married here years ago and come back regularly. The rooms are outstanding, the overall ambiance feels like stepping back in time, and the staff truly makes you feel at home. The breakfasts are almost unbelievable. Chef Beverly has been there for years and is well known throughout the state of South Carolina. I wish she would prepare all the meals-we’d never go out to eat. We can’t recommend Rhett House Inn and Beaufort any more highly!

Be very sure you will have NO changes to your reservation
Be very careful that you will have no changes to your reservation. While the site states cancellations are fully refundable according to their cancellation policy, they will avoid and ignore any requests for refund. They double charged us (on two different days) for a reservation that we had to cancel a month in advance. I have tried numerous times to email the “general manager”, Aimee, but she doesn’t respond. Each time I call the person who answers, Shannon, shuts me down immediately saying “nobody but Aimee can help and she teaches school so she is just far too busy. Good bye”. I am stunned. I do not want to continue wasting my time trying to reach someone about a double charged room that was cancelled way in advance. I will approach from the credit card dispute route- but it should not he this difficult.

The Rhett House Inn was fabulous! The staff was very friendly and really made us feel at home. You can easily walk to restaurants and to the waterfront; the beach, Paris Island and Savannah are within easy driving distance.
