Armed with AAA Four-Diamond status and an envious New England location, the Bedford Village Inn was once the site of an 1800s working farm. After undergoing a multi-million dollar restoration, the farm was put out to pasture, and in its place emerged an elegant and lovely New Hampshire hideaway. The original barn features 14 well-appointed guest rooms that retain the charm of a bygone era yet offer all of today's modern conveniences. There is also a separate 8-room cottage that evokes the feel of a plush personal sanctuary. Each of the inn's chambers contains its own set of fabulous amenities, such as wet bars, outdoor decks and spacious sitting areas warmed by crackling fireplaces. All share some common features too, such as four-poster king-size beds, bathrooms graced with roomy whirlpool baths, Italian marble and polished brass accents, flat-panel HDTVs, DVD entertainment systems and high-speed internet access.

Unexpected but delightful stay after airline debacle. We enjoyed both the Tavern and the Grand Hotel. Will be back to enjoy under better circumstances!🤣

For years, this establishment has been a favorite destination for my family. My wife and I, along with our three young children, have proudly considered ourselves loyal regulars. However, a recent and incredibly disheartening experience has ensured we will never return. We recently arrived a half-hour early for our 5:30 PM reservation to find both the indoor dining room and the patio almost entirely empty. Given the beautiful weather and the abundance of vacant outdoor tables, I politely asked if we might be seated on the patio instead. Rather than accommodating a simple request, or even politely declining, the manager chose to berate me. I was spoken to like a child and threatened with a $125 fee simply for requesting a table change, bizarrely accused of making a "backup reservation," and lectured about how my polite inquiry was somehow a grave injustice to the waitstaff. It is very disappointing to see a venue we once loved operate with such staggering entitlement and a total lack of basic grace. True hospitality is rooted in customer appreciation and respect—concepts this management team desperately needs to relearn. Diners have countless choices of where to spend their time and hard-earned money. It is a profound shame that this restaurant has chosen to alienate the very patrons who have supported them for years with such inexplicable arrogance and outright rudeness.

The property is beautiful...the location was perfect as it was mid-way between north NJ and Bar Harbor Maine...the room was lovely and the bed extremely comfortable...the hotel, restaurant and room were exceptionally clean...it was very quiet...and at the front desk extraordinary...it was like a little bit of heaven...did not have a chance to use the pool or hot tub but they looked inviting...the restaurants were exceptional...

The Bedford Village Inn (The Grand) is an absolute treasure. From start to finish, the experience was spectacular. The Food: Hands down, this place has the best food and restaurant experience around. Every meal was masterfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. It’s a culinary destination all on its own. The Accommodations: Excellent, luxurious, and pristine. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, beautifully appointed, and offer the perfect blend of historic charm and modern sophistication. If you are looking for top-tier service, unmatched dining, and a peaceful getaway, this is it. We will definitely be back!

We've just returned from our fall visit to the Bedford Village Inn with a Luxury Link package (our third!). The property and grounds are beautiful, the staff are most accommodating and the food was fabulous! We are truly hoping to make another trip to this Inn and enjoy more of the wonderful sightseeing in New Hampshire!
