Armed with AAA Four-Diamond status and an envious New England location, the Bedford Village Inn was once the site of an 1800s working farm. After undergoing a multi-million dollar restoration, the farm was put out to pasture, and in its place emerged an elegant and lovely New Hampshire hideaway. The original barn features 14 well-appointed guest rooms that retain the charm of a bygone era yet offer all of today's modern conveniences. There is also a separate 8-room cottage that evokes the feel of a plush personal sanctuary. Each of the inn's chambers contains its own set of fabulous amenities, such as wet bars, outdoor decks and spacious sitting areas warmed by crackling fireplaces. All share some common features too, such as four-poster king-size beds, bathrooms graced with roomy whirlpool baths, Italian marble and polished brass accents, flat-panel HDTVs, DVD entertainment systems and high-speed internet access.

From some reason when I opened the app for a direct review it gave its self 5 stars. It was anything but that. The wedding venue staff members were incredibly kind and made up for it. Staying at the grand was difficult from the beginning, making reservations on the telephone to getting there and trying to get an early check-in since it was three and our wedding was at four. I understand things have to be done properly, but we waited till about 2:45. Then rushed for this wedding came home to a clogged toilet. Nobody was very helpful at the front desk. I did get them to send someone up after my husband woke up. She was very nice housekeeper but had approached me with a plunger and asked me if I would like to do the plunging it or should they? I asked her to do it considering we paid over $400 for our room. .

Great check in and check put experience. I arrived on Sunday, and was disappointed to find the hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday and Mondays. The Tavern Restaurant next door was okay. The scenery was beautiful! The hotel room was very clean and had a very nice touch of a turn down service at night! Overall I would definitely stay here again!

We were visiting NH for the first time, to celebrate my son’s wedding. I am beyond delighted we discovered this wonderful hotel, which provided everything we needed, and more, for a big weekend. From my earliest communication with Candace and the Front Desk, to the final check out, we were treated with charm and professionalism, adapting to cancelled flights (thanks BA), providing us with superb food (lobster rolls, we’re looking at you), breakfasts of dreams, large and luxury bedding, sensitive understanding to my mobility issues and prices that were extremely good value for high tourist season. Add to that a lovely on site salon for my pre-wedding blow dry, a shuttle service to Manchester making car hire super easy and that very clever combination of the highest in hospitality standards (we travel a lot, this was amongst the best we’ve experienced) with the feel of a family welcome where they genuinely care about the guest experience. Thank you, everyone, at the BVI. We’ll be back!

We've just returned from our fall visit to the Bedford Village Inn with a Luxury Link package (our third!). The property and grounds are beautiful, the staff are most accommodating and the food was fabulous! We are truly hoping to make another trip to this Inn and enjoy more of the wonderful sightseeing in New Hampshire!
