Bedford Village Inn

Location in Bedford is great & near my family I was visiting. Hotel room is quite spacious The gas fireplace is nice but the control button is too bright for sleeping so it had to be covered. The arm rests on the chairs were torn/threadbare so I used hand towels to cover them. Lastly, the large shower area did not have a hand hold or bar &, at 80 yrs old, I had to be extra careful on the slippery/soapy shower floor. Very quiet environment & the staff are very helpful & friendly.

Only an hour from Boston, tucked into trees bordering an old farm property, the Grand at Bedford Village was the perfect overnight getaway we needed to mark our anniversary. The Junior Suite was perfectly sized for the two of us - each room spacious in its own right with contemporary finishes yet with creature comforts that made it feel homey. The food at the Dining Room was exceptional; the pork chop was possibly the best either of us has ever had (and that is not exaggeration) No: It was the best! With appreciation, I would say the chef is talented and deserves their kudos. Our breakfasts ("country" and avocado toast) were both ample, delicious, and fairly priced. The staff could not have been more accommodating. The cookies/waters at turn-down were a nice touch. There was a wedding on the property during our stay but it was totally unobtrusive. We came home relaxed, well fed, and with a conviction to return. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

My son got married at the BVI. From the moment we arrived early to the check out was an exceptional experience. The rooms are beautiful, the wedding venue spectacular, the food was decadent and the service top notch. Our son’s wedding was perfect in every way!

This was our first experience at the Grand Boutique hotel at the BVI. Having stayed at the Inn we have dined in the Tavern and main dining room. We were equally as impressed with the accommodations, a spacious room with a lovely fireplace, the Trattoria Fondi was just as delicious and the service equally as outstanding as the main dining room and Tavern. Another outstanding visit to the BVI and a perfect way to spend our 25th anniversary.

From some reason when I opened the app for a direct review it gave its self 5 stars. It was anything but that. The wedding venue staff members were incredibly kind and made up for it. Staying at the grand was difficult from the beginning, making reservations on the telephone to getting there and trying to get an early check-in since it was three and our wedding was at four. I understand things have to be done properly, but we waited till about 2:45. Then rushed for this wedding came home to a clogged toilet. Nobody was very helpful at the front desk. I did get them to send someone up after my husband woke up. She was very nice housekeeper but had approached me with a plunger and asked me if I would like to do the plunging it or should they? I asked her to do it considering we paid over $400 for our room. .
