Gracious, understated elegance - feels like being a welcome guest at a stately home. This inn is ranked among the distinguished inns of North America for good reason - it’s beautiful, inviting, comfortable, relaxing. A destination in and of itself. Charming room, beautiful grounds and garden, view of the mountains, and bullfrogs in the pond. Enchanting!

★★★★★ (Stayed June 2025 · 2 nights) Tucked away in a quiet part of New Hampshire, this B&B was an absolute gem from start to finish. The room was spotless, beautifully appointed, and genuinely comfortable—no gimmicks, just thoughtful design and a great night’s sleep. Check-in and check-out were seamless. The host struck that perfect balance: friendly, gracious, and helpful when needed, but never intrusive. A true professional. Breakfast was a highlight. It was served hot, fresh, and right on time. Bonus points for the extra touches: yogurt, pastries, and fruit available throughout the day in the common area. It’s a small thing, but it made the stay feel truly generous. Every corner of the property was clean and well cared for, which speaks volumes about the pride and care the hosts put into running the place. The vibe is quiet, relaxed, and exactly what I needed. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a peaceful, well-run stay without the drama or pretense. I’ll absolutely be back next time I’m in the area.

Had dinner one evening. Food is very artisanal. No substitutions or deletions. After being seated our appetizer took 45 minutes to arrive. Entree was 45 minutes later. There were only 3 other couples present, so the amount of time was unacceptable. Food was good albeit a little too artisanal for us. It was a large portion and the atmosphere was nice.

Whenever we travel to northern Vermont to visit relatives, we stay at the Adair Inn on the way back. By now, it almost feels like home. The staff is friendly and helpful, the meals in the dining room are always great, and the breakfast the next morning is nice with three choices. The cute little bar area, with only two high tops, is a nice place for a pre-dinner drink. The view from the back patio is terrific, with woods and background mountains picture worthy. In good weather, dinner on the outside patio is such a delightful experience. We will return again and again in the future.

We had the best time at this Inn. It was a last minute birthday trip on our way to Canada from Boston. The owners accommodated all requests we had and were so welcoming. I have to say Haylee (spelling?) was the best part of our experience. She served us in the restaurant and even kept the bar open late for our late dinner so we could have a night cap. The chef was also amazing and highly recommend the steak!
