We had a luxurious room with a harbor view, wonderful fruit and snacks as we arrived. Our dinner was excellent as always. Breakfast was served with the usual professional and knowledgeable staff. The staff is so helpful and welcoming, we enjoyed our visit immensely.

We had an OUTSTANDING experience at the Camden Harbor Inn. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary there for two nights. We stayed in the Curacao room with incredible views of the mountains and the harbor. We were treated to numerous thoughtful, personal touches like complimentary strawberry shortcake in our room, handwritten notes, and more. The hospitality was incredible! The food and drink were absolutely delicious and the staff were quite friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend a stay at this inn.

We chose Camden Harbour Inn largely because of its Michelin-recognized restaurant Natalie's. Unfortunately, the stay as well as the dining experience became memorable for entirely the wrong reasons. We arrived around 7:00 PM on a Tuesday, planning to dine at Natalie’s that evening (per restaurant website they were open). Only after noticing the restaurant was dark and asking about it were we told that the restaurant was closed. This is a 4-star hotel, yet the inn apparently chose to close the restaurant on a slow evening despite having arriving guests, without even bothering to call or email. What made this worse was that the innkeeper then directed us to a nearby restaurant and warned us to arrive before 7:30 PM because it might close early if business was slow. Given that awareness, the failure to inform guests ahead of time felt especially careless. The second night was even worse. We booked the “culinary experience” package for $275 for two, described as a four-course chef’s tasting menu at Natalie’s. Natalie’s own menu describes this as a $139 per person menu highlighting "Maine's bounty of the sea, local farms and our own vegetable garden". Then, as we walked into the restaurant, the restaurant manager told us that Natalie’s would be serving an Indonesian "rice table" tasting menu by a visiting chef from Singapore. This had never been mentioned when we booked the package by phone on 2/11, nor at check-in the previous evening when our dining package was acknowledged. After sitting down at the table, we looked up the menu and found that this temporary menu (running 3/5–3/15) was a three-course menu priced at $74 per person. Let me highlight this: We booked a $139-per-person Maine-focused four-course tasting menu by a Michelin-recognized chef, but were served a $74-per-person three-course visiting-chef menu featuring Indonesian food with no prior disclosure. Even worse, neither the innkeeper nor the restaurant manager addressed the obvious price discrepancy, until we brought it up after finding out the said price discrepancy ourselves. After discussion the innkeeper removed the $275 culinary package and applied a $63 discount (not sure why this particular amount). But then at checkout, I noticed that the restaurant charge on the hotel bill ($224.44) did not match the signed restaurant bill from the previous evening ($177.60). Fortunately I took a photo of the signed receipt and was able to show it, after which the inn keeper removed another $35. We ended up paying $126 (including a $100 AMEX credit) for a meal we didn't choose, didn't expect, and were never asked whether we wanted it. The core issue was not simply the food—it was the repeated lack of communication, it was about a 4-star property that closed its restaurant without notice, it was about a supposedly Michelin recognized restaurant substituting a (much) lesser product for a pre-purchased package without disclosure, and it was about a hotel requiring guests to audit their own bill every step on the way.

We had a fantastic stay at the Camden Harbour Inn. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with a great mix of charm and luxury. The rooms are very comfortable and well-appointed, making it a perfect place to relax after a day exploring Camden. One of the highlights is the restaurant—truly fantastic food and a great dining experience right on the property. The service throughout the hotel was excellent as well; the staff were attentive, welcoming, and clearly take pride in making sure guests have a great stay. The amenities are also top-notch and add to the overall experience. Between the lovely rooms, outstanding restaurant, and exceptional service, this is easily one of the best places to stay in Camden. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful inn. My husband and I just returned from staying the weekend to partake in the Feast of the Seven Fishes. We enjoyed the weekend from start to finish. There were so many surprise perks included in our stay; the gift teddy bear on arrival; the amazing candy, snack and coffee room; on our weekend, there was a cookie decorating contest with complimentary eggnog and proseco; gift aprons; bed turndowns with slippers placed by the bed; mints on the pilllow; complimentary soda and water in the room fridge; comfortable bedding and most of the all, the Feast and the daily breakfasts. Such amazing food. Add to everything, the lovely area of Camden itself and everything about this weekend created the magic and enjoyment you hope for at Christmas time. We've decided this will be an annual event but will plan on staying longer next time. Highly recommended.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The staff here is so friendly and accommodating, which always enhances a vacation. The actual accommodations were awesome! I really miss the comfort of that amazing bed and waking up to the beautiful view of the bay. This was the first place that I booked for our Maine vacation and it ended up being our last stop! Could not imagine a better ending. Thank you all so much!
