The best in comfort, calm and food.
The Inn provided calm, comfort and courtesy as my wife and I explored southern Maine. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere welcoming. We hated to move on for the next stop on our travels, but know we will return again.

Exceptional in every way! Amazingly beautiful location. Wonderful food in the Sea Glass restaurant. Staff very attentive and friendly. Beautiful comfortable rooms.

Cleanliness and functionality need much improvement. Deferred maintenance.
The sinks and shower were backed up and we requested fix - never did it. MBR bath sliding pocket door was barely sliding. Porch screen door was extremely difficult to pull and stay closed. One window wouldn't open, for fresh air. The hotel management had a photographer that limited 2 days of n pool because of the drone pics and videos being undertaken (for the website?). Beach chairs were not handed out as they were limited, and guest services was not at the the beach when they were expected to be with towels, umbrella and chairs. We made reservations n advance (window view) for breakfast each morning for 8am, but hostess said the 9 o'clock reservation they had in their book conflicted with ours and it was awkward trying to get them to oblige our earlier reservation. The engineering associate was very good, and fixed the Apple TV hardware, on the spot. Inn by the sea hotel has a deferred maintenance problem.
