Carriage House Inn

We loved our stay here. The room was very large and quiet. We thought the location was perfect -- you are right at the hub of downtown Carmel, but on a quiet residential street one street over from the shops and restaurants. So you are right where you want to be, but it is also nice and quiet. The breakfast, delivered to our room, was lovely. The service, especially at check in, was 10/10. Would definitely stay here again.

The Carriage House is a hidden gem. The accommodations are amazing as attention is paid to each detail. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The Inn is quiet and nestled off the main street of town but close enough to walk wherever you choose to go. A highlight of the stay was the delicious breakfast delivered to our room daily at a time of our choosing. I highly recommend staying here!

The room was very comfortable, the bed was amazing, the service was supreme and everything was close by. Great place for a romantic get away.

Located in the perfect area. It’s close to the beach, plaza, Ocean Ave, and restaurants. The Carmel gate to Pebble is 2 mins away. It’s a great place to walk everywhere without needing your car or an uber to go anywhere. Our stay included breakfast - it was delicious and we were satisfied. The quiche was warm, the bagels were toasted, and the muffins were warm. The food came to our door at the time we selected. We will return.

Good location and tasty breakfast. Room was dated and service was non-existent. Basically a motel. No lobby, entrance from the outside. No air conditioning which made sleeping uncomfortable. When we checked in the room was at 78 degrees and the only option was to open the very small windows, which provided no breeze. When we inquired about checking out a day early due to a flight change from the airline they offered no options other than paying full price. For the price we paid this was a very disappointing lodging experience.
